I tested this build in Standard with random Gear I crafted that is realistic on League Start. It works really well and is not even considering the changes we are getting in 3.21. I played with 2x Ichimonji and cleared T16 maps.

Few things to note:

- 10% chance for Impales to last an additional hit is not taken into account into the DPS in PoB.

- You count as Low Life at 55% Life increases the EHP but is not taken into account by PoB.

- Vengeant Cascade will, in theory, skyrocket the DPS of Shattering Steel as long as you are ontop of an enemy. Not taken into account by PoB.

- Pierce Nodes are only until you get Pierce on boots

- Allways go for Armor/Evasion bases (especially for the 15% suppres mastery if condition is met)

- You can play this as Lancing Steel with 2x Beltimber Blade early in league for +4 Proj

- Do not use Grelwood Shank, ever. It has Iron Reflexes while stationary, braking your persevearence, gutting your dps

Pros:

Easy to gear

Super Cheap early on

Lots of room for improvement for endgame.

Tanky if you get your Suppress up

10% instant Leech should be really strong

Only mandatory Item you need is Persevearence

Champion can be respecct into many other builds. Bow, Reap Impale, Armour Stacker etc

Cons:

Press Call of Steel

"Melee"

Endgame Upgrades might be expansive (Paradoxica, Saviour)

Forbidden Flame/Flesh jewels might be expansive (Most likely Brutal Fervour, Overwhelm, Arena Challenger)
