A little bit back u/Inevitable_Spring928 made a [wonderful post] (https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/zqz6uj/the_eternal_damnation_and_why_its_so_efficient_on/) detailing the defensive power of Eternal Damnation + Loreweave, and especially the Juggernaut node 'Unbreakable' in conjunction with strong armour investment. Essentially what it boils down to is that your elemental damage reduction becomes absurdly high for rather cheap passive and gear investment, leaving you able to scale your DPS in any way you want. They went with EA ballistas, and since I had never actually ran an EA ballista build before, I decided to follow suit, and found a ton of success.

Because I was so thrilled with how the character was going, I decided to invest more into the build, and craft myself some really nice gear, and integrate Cluster Jewels and Forbidden Flame/Flesh.

As it currently stands, I sit at 320k effective HP (Max hits of 45k/117k/73k for Phys/Ele/Chaos respectively) against Pinnacle Bosses, and just under the DoT cap in terms of DPS at 35.66M. It must be stated that this is a higher investment build, but is in no way some multi-mirror project. I would estimate I've only spent about 60 Divines on the build, and 15 divines of that went solely into an additional curse corrupted Eternal Damnation. The build has taken on everything in the game with little to no issue, from ultra-juiced Feared invitations, to Uber Bossing, to high % deli maps, and is even a really solid Legion clearer.

Quick tips and things to point out

I only have 5 totems rather than the usual 6 found in EA Ballista builds due to anointing Whispers of Doom instead of Watchtowers. I am able to do this because I have an attack speed implicit quiver, an attack speed roll on my gloves, and pick up more than the usual amount of attack speed on the tree + 15% skill effect duration from a damage over time mastery.

My Lethal Pride jewel is just about perfect for this build, and grants me 30% faster ignites. If you wish to run this build, I suggest trying to snag one of the correct seed number quickly before they are gone and/or increase in price.

Quartz Flasks are possibly the single biggest clear speed increase for EA Ballista builds, as the phasing they grant allows you to place your totems and move on as the explosions happen behind you, without you getting stuck on packs and having to wait 1.7 seconds every single time before the explosion. With Onslaught from a cluster jewel, a quicksilver flask, and a quartz flask, the clear speed is actually relatively quick all things considered, and the proliferation from an Eldritch glove implicit makes Legions actually viable to full clear. I suggest getting the Grand Ember version, which is 14 radius, as that seemed to smooth things out considerably compared to only the 12 radius Lesser Ember for some reason.; I guess that 2 radius makes a difference in Legion monster spacing.

I swap Rain of Splinters in and out for a high damage jewel for big bosses where the extra projectiles don't make a difference, and the reduced damage is a hindrance.
