Profile: Profile. (Alot of the farmed currency has now gone into the tshot character “Patrick”)
With the Sanctum changes in 3.22 and relics becoming tradeable, I was pretty interested in building a character capable of doing no-hit runs consistently with the unique relic, original scripture. I settled on a version of a hexblast miner I had first theorycrafted in 3.20, as I was pretty confident with a few new additions of tattoos I could get sufficient damage and speed to reliably complete no hit runs on a *reasonable budget (reasonable relative to the price of original sin). Since I wasn’t able to play, I convinced my good friend Patrick to run this character with the aim of farming original sin, the drop reward from original scripture.
We initially made our money farming sandstorm visages for 5div profit per run while sandstorm relics were around 6-7d in cost. We could do one per 15 min, so it was around 15-17 div an hour with trading. This strategy will only be replicable if hexblast isn’t nerfed and is still meta next league. Once we had farmed enough to buy upgrades for the character, we swapped to no hit runs with only a few room reveal relics, and were able to farm some of the first original sins on the server, with a whopping profit of over 100 divines per ring on the sale of the first few. With the Sanctum xp changes, we levelled to 100 in Sanctum, the last two levels being exclusively no hit. Note that the character “only” costed 130 divines (this is what we spent, and is small compared to the profit generated) to put together, and does not require a mageblood to run original scripture. We continued to farm original sins, making around a 1.5 mirrors per day until present day (9-10 mirrors by 08/29/2023, so in the first 10 days of the league)
The following video attempts to demystify the no hit run, and provide a working template of a character that has succeeded in consistently completing these runs at around an 84% win rate. I’ve also included a link to an overall tier list (pacts, rewards, afflictions, boons, rooms) for no hit runs, as well as overall build advice for characters looking to push no hit runs consistently. Game is played in custom resolution for a bit wider FOV, so forgive the black bars in the video.
Please reply with any additional questions in the comments if the video didn’t fully clarify those concepts.
