Hi folks,

I think this is only the 2nd build I've ever posted here, so be gentle! I recently levelled up a Slayer because melee hype league but I really didn't want to go the meta Frost Blades/Lightning Strike route. So after a little digging around on poe.ninja, I saw there were a few people, but not many, playing Ice Crash of Cadence. As a slam enjoyer, I thought I'd give it a try.

If you're a fan of not being able to see shit on the screen, this ones for you. As you can see, the build has a couple of different defensive layers, neither of which are minmaxed. I still need to cap suppress and spell block (65/65 with Versatile combatant), but this will take a considerable amount of time/currency investment and I think I'm done with this character now. However, Slayer leech and big freezes are all we really need to get by... Also Progenesis.

The concept of the build is not my own. I tend to just take inspiration from a couple of different variations of a build via poe.ninja and try to take my own direction with it, but either way, this is the end result. It's worth mentioning that as somebody who isn't a 'build creator', I haven't got a clue about budget options etc. so if you want to see something like that, your best bet is to dial back to the first few days of the league and filter out the skill and ascendancy to see what others were doing.
