Overview

3.26 - forbidden rite of soul sacrifice - pt 4 - future specs / other variants - pob discussion only is a Path of Exile Occultist build by Alkuroth, made for the Secrets of the Atlas league (3.26). It is centered on Assassin's Mark and plays as a critical, intelligence, spell, curse archetype. In Path of Building it reaches 27.94M DPS with 110.86K effective HP, 1 life, 18.03K energy shield. Suited for: Simulacrum. Key uniques include Graven's Secret, Rumi's Concoction, Whispers of Infinity, Malachai's Loop, Oro's Sacrifice.

whispers of infinity amulet enables alt forbidden rite. It converts life cost to es, so we can use CI. (currently amulet is bugged and the life cost is not converted it is eliminated June 17 2025) the simulated physical max hit is going to feel way better than what shows since 40-95% is converted to elemental depending on the tech you are running. 40% fire - shaper of flames 15% fire 15% lightning - pyroshock 25% fire - kaoms binding you can try running the belts on your mercenary too. Loadouts: minimalist minimalist everything should be 10c or less, i checked prices on June 17 2025. I guess this build is getting popular so I can't vouch for prices anymore. Though you could gear the two below similarly. You just need to do the stack a single max res through an aura / flask / jewels, and use melding. also ~ half the dps of spec 3 it isn't super optimized. You can grab various max res as implicits on gear. And other ways to balance offense and defense Occultist Power Charge Stack Higher budget than spec 3. Should be at least 50% more dps. It is on hit (no dot). Should be a lot tankier than spec 3 as well. cast on crit very similar to occultist power charge stack but using cast on crit (you can move while dealing dps) biggest difference is dagger, and not using coil whisper ring General: self cast tech: you can just hold down forbidden rite and then frost blink around to reposition. it doesn't cancel your cast at all so its 0 dps loss. especially useful against bosses since frostblink resets really fast. Auras: Purity of elements - this works pretty nicely with the build early on. It's hard to find high es gear with res on it too. Ailment immune is a nice bonus. Swap out malev for this. flesh stone shavronnes ring is big max hit + dps boost but also clunky. Have another ring to swap out or skip it entirely if you don't like it. Also I recommend swapping it out during bosses with a lot of phases and you need to regen (nothing to es leech). Lab too Runegrafts: 40% increased global defences Auras benefit enemies (mixed with 10% more chaos dmg to enemies with es mastery) Stuff to try out: wither application chaos golem of maelstrom?
