Overview
My take on the Vaal Smite Wormblaster - Slow but Satisfying is a Path of Exile Hierophant build by HSLSS, made for the Kalguur league (3.25). It is centered on Vaal Smite and plays as a lightning, strength, melee, attack archetype. In Path of Building it reaches 87.37M DPS with 28.8K effective HP, 1 life, 8.83K energy shield. Key uniques include Hateforge, The Writhing Jar, Memory Vault, Mother's Embrace, The Writhing Jar.

This is my take on the Vaal Smite Wormblaster. I initially tried a manastorm version of it but it fell over anytime any mobs looked at me. This version has about half the damage but won't die to everything thing that turns their heads.
Using both Energy Blade and Ephemeral Edge depending on the situation. Switching from Energy Blade to Ephemeral Edge is about a 20% damage decrease but gives around 40% more EHP. Though, due to faster AS of energy blade it feels much smoother.
Super satisfying skill and I might try recreate this with the new Settlers Mace which lets you have multiple one-hand melee enchants as this variant is a bit clunky due to soul gain prevention time.
