#Introduction

First of here is a disclaimer: this is an incredibly niche build. It will require leveling a character on a second account. While I think it is quite a powerful support, it works best paired with builds which cannot acquire any of the things it provides on their own; the biggest of these is charges, ailment immunity, and unnerve. There is a unique jewel in the pob which should replicate the damage the support will give you.

I believe the absolute best pairing with this build is an aura stacker, which was my motivation to make the build in the first place - it lets both builds become incredibly more cost efficient. The aura stacker will res cap the support and provide a huge boost to es/armor, and the support will provide a bunch of things the aura stacker struggles to get, especially at low investment.

I left in the middle of wave 30 after kosis spawned to showcase the solo tankiness. Yes, it can die if you get a very unlucky streak of blocks (which is inevitable if youre just sitting in 100 mobs for a minute). Leaving around to go clear the map is fine though, and it should generally outlast your main (especially since this build is better suited paired with glass cannon than a tank). The bigger issue with just tanking 100 mobs is that you crash the instance (which you can see from my attempt to rejoin followed immediately by a disconnect).

This build is very flexible, and I didn't min-max it too hard. I started it at level 68 with a 150c budget (basically aegis and then 5c everywhere else) and leveled entirely in simulacrums. You can go way harder into either the cursebot or the mana guardian aspects of the build. You could also generate currency by leveling gems on the support, but its a pain to level them up so at a bare minimum I'd recommend awakened gems or empower/enlighten. If you're willing to micromanage it, you could probably get ~2 ex/hr from that alone.

#Gear

The gear is very flexible. Ashes of the stars is great of course, but I started out with replica winterheart to just get some res + flat es, and any similar res/es amulet would be fine (or mana if youre doing mana guardian). The build has a ton of % es but not much flat es, so it is important to get flat ES from every slot possible.

Aegis aurora pretty much non-negotiable. I guess you could drop all armor investment for a shit ton of ES (getting to 20k+) and use a % es on block shield... but it'd probably be weaker and more expensive.

You can't afford to path to iron reflexes, so you need to get it from gear. Skin of the lords is the obvious way to get access to iron reflexes, but you can also use grelwood shank. However, that requires dropping cerberus limb which is a really powerful ES option (gives much more than ephemeral edge), and you seem to count as moving when monsters push you around which can be an issue.

Ralakesh's impatience is the best way to get charge generation. You can also go harmony of purpose and drop time of need or radiant faith, but I found ralakesh's to be consistent enough.

Doedre's damning will be required if your main uses any curses/marks to get your curse cap to +3. You could also get a +1 curse implicit amulet (probably not on ashes though, as that would absolutely not be worth it).

#Clusters

This is where you have the most options for pushing for generic tankiness (es clusters), damage (curse clusters), or party survivability (mana clusters). Tbh for a long time I didn't even use clusters and just pathed down to foresight/leadership. That will be a valid option for mana/es, but for curse effect, you would need a cluster jewel setup. I find it hard to beat out veteran defender/scintillating idea with a 5 passive voices, but if you want maximum curse effect, then voices would be the best option.

#Skills

The curses are whatever fits your build/your build doesn't have. Other than that, I think the aura setup is pretty non-negotiable as a baseline. If you don't have an aura stacker on your main, I guess you could try fitting in some other auras like discipline and maybe even grace (replacing es clusters with rmr).
