Hey everyone so I am playing shockwave totems, and I am having trouble understanding the power charges. If you look at my tree I allocate points to gain a maximum power charge for 4 total charges. I always have 1 charge up permanently, but I dont seem to ever get more than 1. I use arcanist brand on enemies and figured that would give charges when they die from a totem, but I never get above 1.

Can anyone explain why I would invest in another max charge when I can't get higher than 1 since totems don't generate charges? Thanks!
