This is what leveling with The Whispering Ice looks like. Recorded on day 2 of the Blight league. The staff was 1c, amulet 2 alc, and everything else 1 alc or self-found. Astramentis and rares with good ES would completely trivialize it, but it's not realistic to get on day 1. Cheap uniques all the way!

Get to lv 38 any way you like (the guide has some recommendations). And as soon as you can use CwC, it becomes like this. I switched to CI at lv 58 before starting Act 8.
