Decided to go Ice Spear as my mine skill this league especially with the new alternate quality PROJECTILES PIERCE 2 ADDITIONAL TARGETS. The quality pretty much solves the main issue of Ice Spear mines which was annoying clear speed without the pierce. Also using Secrets of Suffering sceptre to get scorch, brittle, and sap on top of the chill and shock from skitterbots. I got really lucky with my large cluster jewel where I Leo slammed Disorienting Display on the jewel with Scintillating Idea and Supercharge.
