I wanted to leaguestart this, but wisely decided against it. I had some currency rotting in my stash and gave it a go as a second character. I decided to use a fairly typical way of scaling damage for spells, namely using an Inquisitor with Spellblade and Energy blade, and then stacking intelligence and strength while using a couple of choice uniques.
I'm not going to play this any further because my other character is straight up better. It works though. The clear is sub-par, but the single target is decent. I tried getting the clear to a respectable level with Herald of Ash, but it's still not too great. Simply spamming Void Sphere rather than Divine Ire would probably clear better than the way I do it. The single target is okay though and one-tapping bosses feels satisfying.
It's clunky and you get better results playing this type of build as a CoC build with different spells, so I wouldn't advise anyone to play this unless like me they really want to play the new Divine Ire of Disintegration and the new Void Sphere of rending. Anyways, it does pretty well and uses common scaling methods so I guess that it's not that big of a meme, but it does feel like a meme because of how clunky it plays and because it gets outperformed by similar builds with a CoC setup.
Don't league start this and only play this if you really want to play these skills.
