The Skills, Items, and Passive Tree sections all contain matching templates for each of these subsections to be followed to your liking. Collectively, these encompass the segment of the game leading up to high-tier Red maps. They contain several high-power leveling Uniques, none of which are mandatory at this stage, however. Leveling will begin as a conventional Cobra Lash into Toxic Rain dot-based chaos damage setup. There isn't much in the way of scaling damage on gear, outside of Quill Rain. Prioritize survivability stats as this playstyle requires some level of tankiness. First Bandit kill can be whichever you like, but veteran campaign runners should opt for Kraiten for the +8% increased movement speed. Act 2's sidequest The Golden Hand now grants an additional passive point. The Library quest will need to be done to pick up Focused Ballista, Innervate, and Flame Dash. The vendor, Lilly, can give you Immolate as of Act 6. Toxic Rain of Withering and Quill Rain will compete for highest priority first trade purchase. All things being equal, Quill Rain is by far the better of the two. Because of how Toxic Rain scales off of Attack Rate, Quill Rain is the Best-in-Slot leveling bow until high-tier Red maps. The Trickster ascendancy will be chosen initially due to its all-purpose power scaling with Toxic Rain. Swap from Haste + Malevolence to Haste + Purity of Elements shortly after finishing the campaign. Once acquiring Lioneye's Paws + Anathema, you can use a triple curse setup on Toxic Rain with Hextouch + Despair + Punishment + Enfeeble. The swap from Toxic Rain on Trickster to CoC Poison Detonate Dead on Assassin is a major one. This should occur well after completing the fourth lab, with enough passives to grab all the intended crit nodes, and only after acquiring a decent Shaper-influenced cast-on-crit bow. Be sure to save enough Gold for when the time is right. Toxic Rain in and of itself is an A-tier league-start build. The skill has an incredibly high floor but with a low ceiling, but it will begin to fall off in high-tier Red maps (especially with Quill Rain). Still, completing 2 or even 4 Voidstones within the confines of modest leveling gear should be doable for anyone familiar with their corresponding boss mechanics. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> ADDITIONAL EARLY ENDGAME TIPS <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< These are the major things needed to be done before entering this stage of the build: 1) Reach level 85+ with Spell Suppression cap and modest Evasion. 2) Acquire an Ivory/Spine base Shaper-influenced bow with the cast-on-crit + power charge affixes in play (recombination is recommended). 3) Swap from Trickster to Assassin with all the intended crit nodes on the passive tree. 4) Hit the Poison cap or near cap with the appropriate gear. 4) Acquire the following (as of 3.26) cheap build-enhancing uniques, 'Doryani's Inviation,' 'Ungil's Harmony,' 'Lioneye's Paws,' Anathema,' and 'Coralito's Signature.' The other uniques are not as important. 5) Craft or buy the recommended flasks with the right bases and suffixes, albeit interchangeably. 6) Alt-spam an ilvl 68+ medium crit cluster to hit Overwhelming Malice, unlocking Wither into the build. 7) Access Kingsmarch to unlock the recombinator as the best method for crafting the bow, which begins with alt-spamming two Shaper-influenced bows then slamming them together.
