Here’s an endgame showcase of my decently min/maxed Lowlife Companion RF Lich Summoner. This is my take on Oscrix’s build, refined with a few new tricks and tech for SC.
The core of the setup is an Elephant-Tortoise Companion, turned into a walking inferno with Infernal Legion. Once ignited, it radiates burning damage, igniting and melting everything in range.
To scale the damage, the priority is simple: stack as much Companion life as possible. The higher its HP, the stronger the base damage of the ignite.
I didn’t want to rely on the Spectre weapon swap bug(?) for clearing, so this build stays much closer to Oscrix’s original Dinomancer (0.2) — just with a few new twists. I still use weapon swap to reposition the Companion or prompt it to walk/run when needed, but far less often than with the Crested Behemoth or Bogfelled Commoners.
I suggest checking out Oscrix's original Dinomancer. It pretty much explains everything you need to know if you have no clue what you are looking at.

Companion gem is set to 24 in the PoBs because Prism of Belief (+3) doesn't seem to work in PoB
I am still tweaking the build. 2 more levels and I will probably drop the "From Nothing" Jewel.
► The "new" scaling tech - Damage Scaling (TL;DR):

Extra Fire Damage directly scales the Ignite from Infernal Legion.

I’m using the Lineage Support Xoph’s Pyre to enable Chaos damage to ignite, combined with Unholy Might and a beast that has “Extra Chaos Damage” + “Extra Fire Damage.”

The rest of the scaling comes from Minion Life and Minion Level, along with picking up AoE nodes to expand the Infernal Legion burn radius.
