Again with all my off-meta builds for now, I am prefacing this by stating my builds are extreme low budget and low time investment. I am old and no longer able to no-life PoE anymore.
Me and a buddy (who is new at PoE) wanted to play a Duo-syncing build and he also is daunted by the skill tree, so he wanted me to create both of our builds. Which is what I did. He only gave me a few requirements and I tried to hit them:
What I came up with was kind of a weird idea but I feel like it worked very well.
1st character - Gluttonous Tide Deadeye
So this character stacks impale, flat phys damage (kinda hard to get for a bow user), added arrows and added max frenzy charges. Currently I believe our Barrage has 15 arrows fired per use. The character also stacks crit multiplier in any way possible, ignoring crit strike chance (we even got a Gluttonous Tide with 80% crit multi crucible mod). He also uses a perfect Marylene's Fallacy with crit catalysts. During clearing, this character mostly just follows from behind and Marks with Sniper's Mark (Focal Point is OP).
2nd character - Cobra Lash Bleed Raider
This character uses the new crucible mod to convert Cobra Lash to all physical damage and bleed with it. We also make use of a Forbidden Flame/Flesh to get Rupturing from the Deadeye while being a Raider, and Usurper's helmet for even faster bleeds based on Frenzy charges. This character is the clearer (the clear is actually really good with all of the chaining Cobra Lashes). This character also uses a perfect Ungil's amulet with crit catalysts, and the +6% crit crucible mod for a 12% base crit claw, very easily getting us to 100% crit. We then use Destructive Link on our 1st character to pass all of our crit to them, so they can sustain frenzy charges with the Gluttonous Tide (and Conduit from us), while also simply critting with over 900% crit multi for big DPS.
Overall, this build has been pretty successful. The issues we're running into is:
My buddy is new so he dies a lot. We tried switching characters (the 2nd character is tankier) to see if it would help but he still manages to die on the Cobra Lash character, lol. He just gets hit by everything, on death effects, charged lasers, whatever. When we manage to get to bosses, this build absolutely 2 clicks most of them. The boss damage is absurd. The clear is solid. So yea, so far this build is pretty solid and tankiness can be improved but I feel it's mostly a skill-issue at this point.
