The new Storm Burst transfigured gem in 3.28 causes the orbs to jump away from the target after the initial hit. This cuts single target damage by 1/3, but gives great clear in open areas. The clear isn't quite as good as KS, but it's cheaper and has better single target.

This is a somewhat modified version of Tanti's build. Somewhere between his midgrade and high-budget POBs, but on a 5d budget. Mostly a one button playstyle. For bosses, cast Assassin's curse and throw mines if you have a window.

I'm sitting at 15m DPS for single target.

Pros: Easy gearing, budget, easy 4-stones, good mapping

Cons: Visual clutter (no available MTX), damage cap, tankiness

Cost of the build: 5d on day 4.

Equipment:

• Ashes of the Stars (1d): The biggest DPS upgrade. A higher quality roll is worth it, but even a base 20% is a big boost

• +1 Totem Shield (1d): These are easy to craft. Get any desired shield with full suffixes and an open prefix, then Shaper slam for the guaranteed +1 totems. Some good DPS options are +2 all max res, physical damage reduction, and spell suppression. If you decide to go block instead, spell block is nice.

• Watcher's Eye - Wrath (50c): The most impactful are physical as extra lightning and lightning pen, but all of them are good

• Scepter/Wand (1d): Use PoB's item finder to maximize DPS. Usually +1 levels, cast speed, and crit chance. A well-rolled Singularity is 5c and is only a 10% DPS loss

• Body (100c): Buy any 6-link Sadist Garb, then Greed Essence spam until T2/T2 spell suppression. Keep/annul an open prefix and craft 8% life/mana

• Gem Quality Priority: Storm Burst, More Duration, Crit

Upgrades:

• I'm pretty much done with the build. I'll farm up some currency for the next thing.

• I'll try and play around with some of the +1 support corruption coins. There are a lot of +DPS options.
