• Cheap
• Animate Weapons last 90 seconds. I play this build at work using a Remote Desktop from my work laptop to my gaming PC to AFK blighted maps.
• 25 Million DPS with Current setup. Can get to 18 million DPS on a 10ex budget.
• Over 35 Million Single Target DPS when I use Multistrike (was using Splash in video!)
• Common uniques I used to league start - Bated Breath. Sin Trek. 2W Triad Grip. Life Based.
• 8.2k ES - but this build is not the tankiest build you'll see on this sub as ES + Minions are it's greatest defense. Thankfully whatever doesn't kill you instantly, you'll live thanks to...
• Temporal Rift to instantly regen ES
• Immune to all Ailments/Poison/ALL Ground effects (thanks to Pantheon and PoE)
• Crit Immunity through Garb of the Ephemereal on AG
• Immune to Bleed
• Immune to Chaos Damage
• Strong/Fastest Minions thanks to Ancient Skull / Animate Weapon / Minion Speed Bench Crafts
• Matua is good. 40% Aura effect for more damage, and +3 Minion Gems for Spectres and Animate Guardian Tankiness.
• Withering Touch Effect is Busted. Withering Touch Gem gives me 160% more damage.
• Can be played Life based with Aegis Aurora and Determination in Lieu of Discipline (although Spectres are significantly less tankier)

Downside

• You're playing Minions
• You use a lot of buttons
• You have to setup every map (but it's worth it imo)
• Not the tankiest build you'll see on this (unless you sacrifice damage!)
• Not the build you're looking for to spend 40+ ex on as it's difficult to find areas to even possibly min/max.

Things that make this build significantly stronger in 3.16 vs 3.16

• Awakened Chaos Damage gives +1 gem at level 5
• Awakened Minion Damage gives +1 gems at level 5
• Chaos Animate Weapon basically got +2 Gem levels for free letting you hit breakpoints that give you more weapons.
• Ancient Skull gives insane Damage and only works because you hit Chaos Res Cap on Minions through United in Dreams Minion Chaos Res.
• Envy got buffed (15 -> 25) - Insane Damage
• Purity of Elements makes you ailment immune. Which is an awesome bonus since you run 5-7 Uniques.
• Added Chaos Damage Gem Awakened is super cheap.

I league started this build. and I've invested about 30ex~ so far. I've done Feared. Sirus 9. Blight Ravaged (farmed 20+ of these today and no Stranglegasp RIP.). And Wave 30 Delis. Also for the lolz my Guardian has an explodey chest.

Estimated Budget to Start: I wouldn't play this build without 5ex to start. Use Sin Trek. Bated Breath with % ES Corrupt and +1 gem amulet on a 6L regalia with high es. You can swap at 92~ to CI. You'll need a ton of uniques (Ancient Skull w/ Discipline or PoE Reservation).
