Tanky CoC Occultist:

“Why go Tanky?” On day 5-6 of league I completed my Atlas and Watchstones. I switch to CoC and decided make some currency off the league mechanic. Immediately after engaging the league mechanics I knew I needed some defensive layers. I was getting popped left and right. Soon as I started this I noticed more and more, I’d be giving up DPS for survivability.

“Evasion and Suppression?” Evasion for the most part is great for dealing with attacks. There is that gap in which an attack will eventually land, and when it’s with coming from a whisp rare it’s more than likely fatal. Suppression is really expensive and it’s positioning on the tree in unfavorable for CoC Occultist, who is already starved on skill points.

“Conclusion?” Armour with Max Block/Spell Block. This route is inexpensive. Easily accessible in terms of pathing on passive tree in comparison to Suppression. Aegis + Tempest Shield + Glancing Blows + 5 points into top-left Block Wheel on passive tree gets you Max Block/Spell Block. One thing that feels really damn good going into T16 Whisps Farming is Take no Extra Damage from Critical Strikes while Elusive. End results:

• 52% CDR

• 10.06 APS

• 21k Armour

• MAX Block

• MAX Spell Block

• 75% Chaos Res

• 80% Max Cold Res (pair well w/ Taste of Hate)

• ES on Hit

• ES on Block

• Spell damage leeched as ES

• 18% Leech is Instant

• Freeze Immune

• Chill Immune

• Shock Immune

• Burning Ground Immune

• Take no Extra Damage from Critical Strikes

• Chill enemies

One of my charms I haven’t updated on PoB and it’s the Crit Multi per P.Charge + No Extra Dmg from Crits while Elusive
