JayOE's Notes

"!gen|r at|r li|o al|non|on," - This will likely be my strarting regex. I should be able to remove all but 1-3 of these later on. Avoid Poison must always be regex'd I think I can get into this by day 3, possibly day 2. It really depends on how much fracturing orbs will cost and how much currency I can make while finishing atlas This content is very hard. Be ready to die a bit on the intial swap. Getting in early will be very good currency though. We no longer need kirac so we should be able to farm an ok amount of currency while completing atlas My estimate is 20-30 div needed. It is hard to predict what the price of new items will be with unknown drop rates The currency gain should be very high and will make this easy to snowball once we get going I am starting Deadeye Venom Gyre. You can start whatever/whoevers Ranger build that you want. There are a million guides. I will not transition into Viper until I have most of gear for phase 1 https://pobb.in/Gb9VcHa0ivPl - Full Gyre 1 to maps pob from kankar https://pobb.in/RbynzZ93uNAx - This is roughly where I will stop to start saving for Viper. This can be improved by quite a bit. Get some chaos resist. There are better builds than Venom Gyre to league start. Just seemed fun to me. I would say level 94 is minimum for viper swap, but try to get 96 The Venomy gyre damage feels pretty meh for eater/exarch when rushing, but it feels very tanky during the fight and it is easy Maven felt ok with the taming rings and some quality on support gems. Swap fork for hypothermia I personally just prefer to just sell my writ and pay for the carry with that currency (Gems) Level supports / viper in weapon slot 2 The socket colors for this are a bit annoying. I think the easiest way will be to place them in as shown in phase 1. For the body armour, bench craft 3 red sockets 4 socket - 3 socket - 4 socket roll until red/green and then 5 - 4 - 5 for the other red/green and lastly 6 socket for blue. Then create two 3 links within the body armour. Use weapon for your 6 link on viper. Should make the coloring of this a bit easier than other options early on. The 1/0 support gem you see in Viper will be from the new coin. Hit any strength support needed with the strength coin 51 Strenght supports, we use 3 (5.88% chance 1/17) . 63 Dex supports, we use 2 (3.17% chance 1/32). We should use the strength coin. It will probably be cheaper than dex anyways I do not know what the new exceptional variants will be. I assume we will be able to take advantage of some of them. Right now I have awakened gems in, but I've left their normal variants in so you can compare damage. They are big (Items) Take as much int as possible. I know it's half value now, but we still need to stack it since our inc % es options on the tree are limited -----Flasks----- Prefixes and their durations matter. Pay attention to their values. They don't have to be quite as good as I have listed but don't get like 35% reduced duration on ele flasks, they may not stay up permanantly -----Sword----- Choose Lion Sword or Vaal Greatsword. **MUST BE ILVL 83** Lion - Makes strength/dex very easy to gear for. It also makes getting your first hit on the expedition easier to get off with its higher attack speed. In play this feels MUCH better to me. Early gear is pretty squishy and we need to hit and move. Vaal - Will have bigger poisons, be slower, less smooth, and make the attributes harder to gear for. Fracture T1 dot multi Alteration spam until t3+ increased physical damage Regal - If prefix, annul prefix, if you annul inc phys, start over If suffix, Multi mod, craft a random prefix to fill, craft prefix cannot be changed, reforge chaos You could also just lock prefix and add/remove chaos but it's yellow juice and probably not cheaper Lock prefix and scour to remove suffixes Craft Multi mod, hit's cannot be evaded, and chaos damage over time multi Done -----Amulet---- Dot multi is not needed on starter version. I found 2-3x the damage for phase 1. Will make it much cheaper to get into. Just essence of desolation until some int or max es ideally For phase 2 version Fracture Dot multi Use new essence of desolation until you hit some good shit. Ideally Inc Max % energy shield. This is what we are struggling with on the initial swap right now due to the int nerfs Rolling or crafting some attack damage leeched as mana is good here. If not you can try to get it on fuel the fight from large clusters. We don't hit very often so you don't have to have this, but it feels better with it -----Rings----- Could use a iolete or formless ring for later stage rings. Damage over time multi spam with essence of delierium or if this is too expensive at the start. Spam with envy I guess Hit some decent stuff, ideally t1 es with a resist and open suffix for stats. Later on we will improve all of this gear The rest of the gear will depend on whether fracturing orbs are cheap or expensive and how well the breach tree performs. This is the "risky" part where I can't really estimate what it will cost to get into this very easily. In general either buy or craft and just do your best to get it as close to what I have here as possible. Get as much int as possible. I know it's nerfed but with such few inc % es nodes, we are struggling here at the start and need all the help we can get. I would probably just buy 4 low tolerance 4 passive clusters with no other mods to start, this will be the cheapest. Worry about getting the better ones later -----Medium Clusters----- Just roll single mod Low tolerance clusters to start. Should be cheap if only 1 mod ----Large clusters------ Fuel the fight is nice but not completely needed. It will feel better with it Aggressive Defense seems very good as we are not attacking often and foritfication will be a lot of defense. Disease vector is required. Expedition will be a bitch without it. Later on Could fracture Disease Vector and then do a cluster reroll into attack or swords or something.
