So, since Reap AND Minefield Support are getting pretty big buffs. I realized that I'd give it a try. and 3.17 is a prime league for Mines since both the league mechanic and the expansion mechanic is about bossing, and gives opportunities for pre laying.

reasons for picking Reap:

1. since the spellcast buffs get better the more levels you stack, I figured since double CIPs already give 6 levels, this is the easiest way to circumvent the nerfs to high impact mine support and come out ahead in terms of damage
2. minefield is getting buffs(it's gonna get 14% more Throwing speed than before basically) which makes it a lot less clunky, with some investment into throwing speed it should feel pretty good now, but even if it still sucks in practice the build is still great you just run swift assembly instead.
3. since you reserve life instead of Mana you can stack more, and don't need a mana flask (ofc this can also be a negative)
4. reap hits like a truck assuming you can get blood charges, which are doable with arcanist brand pretty easily.
5. Marks are permanent now, so you dont even need a curse on hit ring to be a strong bosser.

basically what I'm wondering is: what can I do with my remaining few links (I basically have a spare 4 link)

and am I overlooking something that could be improved?
