ED Contagion is one of my favourite builds of all time and I've been itching to play it for a couple leagues now. This time around I decided to sink some currency into it and see how far I can push the damage and survivability. Overall I'm very happy with it, the char is very satisfying to play with all the contagion prolif. The single target came out at 10-12m dot dps in my current version, with enough max hit and (stupid amounts of) recovery to basically facetank anything and keep channeling blight for nearly 100% dmg uptime.

There's plenty of room for variation and improvement. With a well rolled es/int large chaos clusters you'll get enough es to switch to dual wield (+4m dps). Or something like a +8 focused amulet alone would be +50% more dmg.
