I'm tired of waiting for melee buffs to play Wild Strike and I'm stubborn enough to league start noticeably off meta, so I made a Raider Wild Strike build with Heatshiver! Anyone who's made a build around this probably knows it has a lot going against it and honestly I wouldn't feel comfortable calling it hc viable or ssf friendly. I'll update the PoB notes sometime next week as I will be trying to swap right at 28 for the true leveling experience. It really feels like copium but also reaches decent numbers (5m dps on cold hits "unpadded"), with what shouldn't be an unreasonable budget I hope. I think there's a decent endgame experience there, but I'll find out and edit this post for posterity. https://pobb.in/-yXQ0UKZ2-dw
I will be trading for the Heatshiver and the best claw a short chaos recipe farm will give me (or White Wind if they all suck), and using trade as a crutch isn't a good sign for a build. It'd also be nice if trade helps with getting a combat focus early, because I'll be blocking lightning. The less damage mod on the fire combat focus makes it not worth running with Heatshiver imo.
I tried to explain stuff as best I can in the notes along with how I plan on getting going and what I consider the builds biggest problems. As this is untested, I expect to be breaking away from my plans quite easily. If you have pointers or suggestions I'd appreciate it. I think this is something you can transition to from a real starter to build currency, and I have high hopes for trying to swap to the classic Paradoxica/Saviour duo to blast some legions. But it's probably bait, I'm just hoping I have fun doing it. Just a warning if you league start it like me, make sure you level other skills in your swap lol
