I had a weird thought of scaling Spark a little different than usual, namely scaling projectiles and duration. On a level 25 Spark you get 8 proj base, divergent Spark gives 1 additional proj per 10% gem quality. Max gem quality is 139%, so no use in maxing it out as much as possible, 120% or even just 100% gem quality is rather easy (Dialla's, Enhance, Ashes).
Would make for a base of around 20-30+ proj. Scaling proj speed, duration and cast speed I feel like this could increase the hit rate drastically. Just fill the entire screen in Spark projectiles, moving at zoom speed and lasting 'forever'. And all I need for that is the chest and the amulet, really.
So I quickly threw together a stupid pob: https://pastebin.com/MVVv1KdG
~7 casts per sec, ~6 secs duration, ~30 projectiles per cast. That would mean that after casting for 6 seconds there would be up to around 1260 Spark projectiles on the screen. At 170% inc proj speed. God forbid you hit the acceleration shrine with the Gull. Instruments of Zeal is also a thing.
With those two procced, the cast speed would jump to around 23 casts per second, so around 4140 projectiles on the screen.
The pob is ofc way overboard, it has a lot of problems that would need solving, like mana cost, pierce, survivability, etc. It's just a lil study of how stupid those numbers can become, without even all thaat much effort.
