This is how a typical TotA run goes for the Trickster. You can't really fight the enemy head-on at 1000+ Ranking. They are very tanky and some of them can 1-shot you. The best and fastest strategy is to sneak into their base and destroy it faster than they can destroy yours. Good flanking units are the key. As far as the rewards go, I haven't seen much difference between R=500 and R=1000. Once in several runs you get something valuable or a few Divine orbs. I wish there was an option to use only a portion of your Ranking and farm this league where you are comfortable.
