So I've always wanted to try a Zenith build, but they're usually a mirror+ to start properly playing (much in part due to Original Sin)...

Thankfully Mercenaries league is upon us, and our merc can equip Doryani's Prototype and amass -200 Lightning Resistance which is spread to nearby enemies. By using 'The Admiral' chest armour myself, I am able to exploit their -200% Lightning Resistance with all of my elemental damage which opens up a Zenith build that doesn't use Original Sin (which is the most expensive unique in the "real" Zenith build") and doesn't stack Strength (although that is possible with the Shaper mod on Reaver Sword, might look into this for the future).

While the build does use Mageblood (200 div), Progenesis (70 div), Defiance of Destiny (10 div) and Nimis (40 div), those are by far the most expensive pieces in my current setup. The rest of my gear is literally garbage and is at most 5-10 divines worth, currently at a proof-of-concept stage so I haven't splurged on any bigger rare crafts.
