(See the bottom for update) Hey All,

Looking for feedback/wanting to share a Trinity Elemental Hit Deadeye or Raider that I think I'm going to try to league start unless someone pokes a giant hole in it. I've spent most of yesterday pouring over POE Ninja and POB and think I might have finally created something okayish. I'm leaning towards raider cause it seems a bit easier to start but am curious if others have ideas for deadeye that might be different from mine or able to improve on mine as I think some of the tech in deadeye seems really cool.

Deadeye - https://pastebin.com/BrMeKehB - Evasion based with 85% evade and 100% spell suppression. Uses Farshot for %more damage scaling. I don't have a way to maintain frenzies in boss fights but Deadeye should feel better while mapping with access to frenzies, built in additional proj for the map skill, and the ability to put chain on the clearing links. That being said I'm unsure if the investment into Frenzies would be better spent elsewhere for better single target damage, would be curious what others think here.

Raider - https://pastebin.com/3N5WFr95 - Iron Reflexes for ~40k armor with no flasks (~60k with flasks) and 100% spell suppression and a bit more life. Very zoomy with 8 Frenzies and Perma Onslaught while using point blank for %more damage. The Onslaught Ascendancy allows gives us a little more flexibility with flasks and we can swap out the sulphur for a Dying sun early for a decent damage boost. Alternate tree available for dropping Iron Reflexes and pathing to graceful assault + AR/ES mastery for Evasion rating as extra armor. This gives us more elemental EHP but smaller Phys EHP, so depending on what is killing you there are options which is nice. The additional onslaught affect also gives the alternate tree a bit more zoom.

Important Notes

  • Wind Dancer is taken for the new Precise Technique Keystone and a custom modifier added for 40% more damage with projectile attacks and never deal critical strikes. Also Running precision to help hit the breakpoint for having more accuracy than life for the keystone to work.
  • Snipers mark may get the new Mark on Hit support attached to it if it feels like I need the extra damage on more than just bosses, but self cast perma marks might be enough here.
  • Using EE for easy exposure due to the rotating damage type from Elemental Hit.
  • I tried to keep the gear as simple as possible for league start with only 2 uniques, both rather cheap, and both completely optional.
  • Purity of elements used in both for easy ailment immunity
  • Both set ups utilize a Focused ballista totem with ele hit barrage for more single target damage. (Not necessarily married to this idea)
  • Both set ups are pretty zoomy with ~140% movement speed while mapping (Deadeye slower on boss fights due to no frenzies)
  • I have absolutely no idea how to calculate tornado dps but seeing as almost everyone on POE ninja was running it I'd imagine it helps with single target more than what the POB number says it is.

I'd love to hear feedback from those that have much more experience playing deadeye/raider as I've not played one before but figured now is a great league to try with the new keystone to help during league start! Thanks!

EDIT: After going through the suggestions and looking at other users builds I've settled on deadeye and I think the tree looks better than ever! I've updated my POB to the beta build which has the new nodes and masteries so that I can get a more accurate look at the DPS and pathing.

The new bow mastery for proj speed kind of cements quill rain as our bow until we swap to crit and craft a crazy +3 bow. (I still don't have a crit tree yet). New mark mastery should give us access to frenzy during boss fights so that along with the new bow mastery bumps us to almost 900k sirus dps without taking into account any damage from Tornado. We still get to keep wind dancer as well but I may drop it if it feel likes its not doing enough for me.

Here's the new POB: https://pastebin.com/Wg5sTLNQ (Make sure you are opted into the beta builds under your options for this to work properly before the official release). I also added some leveling trees but as I have not played this just yet take it with a grain of salt and go for the nodes that benefit you the most as you need them!

I'd love to hear from others as they progress if you end up running this along with me so feel free to come back to thread later!
