Static Strike beams count as weapon damage and can be used to proc the runecrafting enchant "trigger a socketed fire spell on hit." This enables the automatic triggering of ~4 spells per second by hitting a single enemy and then running through packs. By scaling skill effect duration, you can extend the length of the Static Energy buff for a "semi-autobomber" playstyle.
In this video I explain the trigger tech, test most of the triggerable fire spells and compare their use cases.
Current test character is a rage/warcry chieftain converting rage to spell damage with Ravenous Passion.
