3.19 New & Improved Raider for Heist - Toxic Rain/Caustic Arrow

Hi, garf412 here, and this is my levelling guide for this build portrayed in this Path of Building. All gear, the tree and chosen skills have been tested in Standard, SSF and Trade League, it works :D However, if you want to try other things, be my guest, have fun :) Stay Safe in Rogue Harbour. ACT1 = GGG / GGR / G / G (OH = G ) Killed Hillock from Tarkleigh = Caustic Arrow Killed Helrake from Nessa = Mirage Archer Killed Hellrake from Tarkleigh = Puncture, Dash Buy = Onslaught, Change to bleed (only if enough currency) Link Onslaught to CA, Chance to Bleed to Puncture. After getting Waypoint in the Prison, go back to town from Nessa = Void Manipulation Buy from Nessa = Ballista Totem, link Balista Totem to Puncture & chance to Bleed buy an INT Amu, STR belt, & if you enough currency Void Manipulation Killed Brutus from Tarkleigh = Blink Arrow Complete Allflame from Nessa = Toxic Rain, remove the Puncture 3L, socket Toxic Rain with Ballista Totem and Void Manipulation Act 1 Links = CA, MA, ONS / TR, B Totem, VM / Dash / Blink Arrow (Void M) ACT2 = GGG / GGR / G / G / R / (OH = G G +1 Other ) Rescue Helena from Greust = Take a gem for later use or sell to trade Hand in Quest at Act 1, buy 1 of each colour gem and any amulet, sell them all back to the vendor for an Onyx Amulet, then make that Rare, Buy a Rain of Arrows gem (Hyrri's Bite Recipe) Killing Weaver from Silk = Vicious Projectiles (replace Onslaught in Caustic Arrow) Buy from Yeena = Vicious Projectiles (replace Void Manipulation in Toxic Rain setup) Act 2 Links = CA, MA, VP / TR, BT, VP / Dash / Blink Arrow (VM, VM & 1 Other) TRADE OPTION = Start looking for a Quill Rain, 4L or more, ideally we want a 6L, this will be expensive at League Start. ACT3 = GGGR / GGGG / B / G / G (OH = 2 Others) Catacombs Tolman from Maramoa = Despair, add into your gear, self-cast on Rares & bosses Buy from Clarissa = Purity of Elements, add this into your gear, turn on the Aura. Killed Grevious from Maramoa = Take a gem for later use or sell to trade Act 3 Links = TR, BT, VM, VP / CA, MA, VM, VP / Purity of Elements / Dash / Blink Arrow (2 Others) TRADE OPTION = PRAXIS = lots of Mana buffs & reduced Mana Cost, (Level 22) LE HEUP OF ALL = gives all attributes, all elemental resists, damage & rarity. (Level 24) ACT4 = GGGR / GGGG / G / G / B (OH = G, R, B, 3 Others) Killing Deshret from Oyun = Take a gem for your later use/trade Opening the Belly of the Beast from Dialla = Take a gem for your later use/trade Buy from Vanja = Phase Run Act 4 Links = CA, MA, VM, VP / TR, BT, VM, VP / Blink Arrow, Dash / Purity of Elements (OH = G, R, B & 3 Other Gems) TRADE OPTION = Death Rush = Provides Chaos Resist, Life on Kill and Adrenaline. Requires Level 46 Your choice on which rings to use, the unique ones suggested here or Rare's ACT 6 = GRGG / RRRG / GRRB / GGGG / GBRG (OH = R / B / G / G REGEAR and relink etc Hyrri's Bite = by this point is mandatory, finish crafting your own or buy one from Trade Buy missing Gems = Efficacy, Decay, Molten Shell, Increased Duration, Malevolence, Defiance Banner, Lifetap, Frostblink, Second Wind, Life Tap, Concentrated Effect Links = (1) Priority in a 5L = Caustic Arrow, Void Manipulation, Vicious Projectiles, Mirage Archer, Decay (2) Toxic Rain, Ballista Totem, Void Manip, Vicious Projectiles, (if you have two 5L add Efficacy) (3) Phase Run, Frostblink, Despair, Hextouch (4) Puirty of Elements, Defiance Banner, Malevolence = if mana issues, turn off Malevolence, then the Banner. (5) CwDT, Molten Shell, Increased Duration, Life Tap (6) Levelling in Off-hands = Efficacy, Concentration Effect = 4 others you have picked up For further investment into the build see the below guidelines, Uniques, Crafting, ALT Quality and and BIG Ticket Items at the bottom = . The Uniques I usually have in the build = Lioneyes Paw's boots = this item provides a Rain of Arrows, that can supported, if you take this option, socket = Despair, Hextouch, Wither & Life Gain on Hit into them. The Replica variant of these boots are better. Queen of the Forest = Speed, more speed, some resists, speed, evasion and more speed :) 4L is good, 5L can do everything we need it to, 6L is not needed, but that extra DPS... ;) Required Level 59 Devoto's Devotion = more Speed some other stuff too... Required Level 67. You might want to Craft or buy the following items = 6L Bow = movepseed implicit with +1 level of socketed gems, damage over time multiplier, hunter mod increased chaos damage over time, multi-mod craft to add +2 to level of socketed support gems and Chaos damage over time multiplier (league dependant usually 10 to 20exalted(3.19 changed this to Divine Orbs) An Expensive Option = Damage Over Time Multi Ring = obtain a non-influenced, ilvl 63 base minumum base, use Blessed Orbs on the implicit if needed, buy some Essence of Delrium (damge over time multipler), use them on your ring base, we are looking for Life, any resists you need, and an open suffix for a Chaos + elemental resistanc craft apply a relevant catalyst, Fertile for more life, Prismatic for more Res, or Noxious for more Chaos DoT damage, one shiny new ring. Curse On Hit Despair Ring = buy one from Trade, you can find them in Delve too if your lucky... OR later in the League you can craft one on an ilvl 75+ Hunter influence base, if you try this, be wary the ring you craft, you might not be able to equip ALT quality BiS gems are (other ALT gems lower our DPS or QoL of the build) = For CwDT setup= Anomalous CwDT For Ballista Totem setup = Anomalous Toxic Rain, Anomalous Efficacy For Caustic Arrow Setup = Divergent Caustic Arrow For Aura Setup = Anomalous Malevolence, Anomalous Purity of Elements, Anomalous Defiance Banner For Movement setup = Divergent Frostblink Buying the Following BIG ticket Items Ashes of the Stars, Mageblood, Corrupted Gear, Corrupted Gems Final thoughts & Notes = There are many ways to play this build, this is the one I have chosen after numerous years of testing through various leagues :) thank you for following me on youtube / Twitter, if you have any queries, please comment on the relevant youtube video or by Discord garf412#9020
