Earthshatter is a slam. 200% AD scaling and creates 4 spikes which deal 30% less when shattered. All spikes can hit the same target if AOE lines up.
General's cry linked to earthshatter creates up to 5 dudes who each slam, each creating 4 spikes, and with one cry, up to 20 spikes are created (max spikes is per mirage dude from testing, so doesn't hit direct attack player cap of 15 - this is the critical bit that spawned this idea), all fairly close to one another due to how the gen cry dudes run up to melee range before slamming.
Earthshatter spikes can be shattered with any warcry, or any slam that isn't another earthshatter. General's cry... is a warcry.
Cry, 5x slam, cry, 5x slam AND 20x spike boom, cry again, 20x spike boom and 5x slam, repeat. Even if not all spikes hit... that's some serious shotgunning. ~2 second cooldown with most warcry cooldown recovery on tree.
Zerker - massive more damage boost to exerted skills, which applies to gen cry, plus the 40% more damage node. Good for melee in general and is what people typically use to play gen cry.
We make corpses for gen cry with cyclone + cwc + desecrate. Maybe switch to corpsewalkers later.
Simple cheap gear pob (and I'm not a pro build maker for sure, feel free to roast) shows around 3 million peak dps (assuming cramped room or huge enemy where all spikes hit) with a 400 dps staff and basic bitch armor. Dramatically higher with better gear, and decent even if fewer spikes hit.
Looks tanky too with solid max hits despite zerker.
Have I finally overdosed on melee copium or will this actually be good? Clearing might be a bit clunky, but this should vaporize bosses especially large stationary ones.
