Hey,

There's a few additions to the game that allow for cheap and easy 100% elemental damage taken as fire:

1. new watcher's eye mod, 10-20% taken as fire
2. Reintroduction of Shadowed ring bases, 25% taken as fire when using two

use those with a Dawnbreaker shield and Tempered by war keystone, and you are taking all elemental as fire. neat way to be ailment immune at the same time for most stuff. Note that you shouldn't ever go over 100% tho, if your watcher's eye is 16% roll, then your dawnbreaker needs to have 11% to hit exactly 100%.

While swapping my leaguestarter to Venom Gyre, I decided to implement this defensive layer since STR stackers struggle with suffix modifier space and getting good resistances is hard early. This allows the use of Arctic Armor as well, which works well with VG single target playstyle.

I was mostly running simulacrum, felt really safe most of the time. if you've never played VG before and know nothing about namelocking, the single target damage rotation is explained by kobeblackmamba in an older youtube video here. ignore the other stuff here since totems are dead and we're self applying wither stacks.
