Build Showcase https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfoJ-uYSDGw

(Maven, Uber Elder, Uber Shaper, T17 Fortress)

You really liked my last post, so I decided to strip the build down even further and record more boss showcases. This should make it easier for you to decide if you want to play it.

This is the strongest bossing build I've ever played, and I'd argue it's even stronger than Seismic Trap at its peak. It's all built on the broken combo of the Vinespike Cordial anoint and Inextricable Fate boots. I can't believe this flew under the radar for so long.

The best part is how easy it is to start. This showcase uses a bare-bones version with magic gear and no cluster jewels to show you the absolute minimum you need. Adding clusters later is cheap and will easily more than double your DPS. I'm running a Tabula and the anoint, and the rest of the gear costs basically 1 chaos.

How to Start & Progression:

You can't level directly as this build. I'd opt for Poisonous Concoction (of Bouncing or regular) to cruise through the campaign and early maps. I recommend following guides from tuadh for these leveling runs.

Once you've killed Eater and Exarch, start grabbing Heist nodes on your atlas. After you have about 120 points, sell or run your contracts to afford the anoint (roughly 1-2 Divine on day one). From there, if you're fast, you can dive into T17 boss rushing (Nullification scarabs help a lot), or if you're less confident, run Sirus/Shaper/Elder invitations and sell the Maven's Writs for upgrades.

You can actually kill Maven with the basic setup, but you really should get your clusters first. You'll also need to buy Asenath's Touch for clear, because trust me, Penance Brand's mapping feels terrible after PConc. It's the trade-off for all this single-target power.

Gear Choices:

I skipped using a Dendrobate or a normal six-link, as I expect them to be expensive early on. I also removed Betrayal's Sting. The boots are the one thing we can't replace, as they're the catalyst for the broken interaction.

Important PoB Note:

There's a bug where Elemental Overload looks like it stops you from poisoning with crits. I don't take the keystone on the tree in PoB; I enable its effect in the Configuration tab. Don't get confused - I always take it when playing!

Pros & Cons:

The pros for this build are that it's incredibly cheap to start and surprisingly tanky on a low budget. The downsides are that you have to micro-manage your life flask to do damage, the map clear is bad without investment, and you can sometimes run out of mana if your Replica Sorrow of the Divine flask duration is low. Honestly, if you want to blast maps, this isn't your build. It's a pure early-league bosser.

I got the idea from the Russian streamer pathofexilebota - big thanks to them for the inspiration! They have more endgame versions with better defense and DPS. Link to their post with more PoBs: https://t.me/podval_batona/2007
