3.21 UPDATE: LOOKS LIKE NIMIS + KB/FIREBALL INTERACTION IS DEAD. THE PROJ NOW FLY THROUGH YOU INSTEAD OF EXPLODING ON TOP OF YOU, MEANING ZERO SHOTGUN ON SINGLE TARGETS. MAYBE GGG WILL REVERT LATER? Info doc about other changes in 3.21 before I found out about nimis breaking (not a PoB): https://pastebin.com/H5wkK37B ***
Best build I've ever played. Favourite farming strat this league. Details below. Shoutouts to not_cakes_ on twitch and Palsteron here on yt. Kinda yoinked both their builds and meshed them into one, changed some things to my liking. And Cakes helped me a lot with crafting.
EFFICIENCY NUMBERS Upgraded rusted to polished and sold entire tabs on TFT at 85% of ninja rate. 10 div/h in JUST scarabs + invitations. Probably about 14-15 div/h total. Filmed these 16 maps to calc efficiency in my profits spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MljyPsoMD_gIeE-gLgJNLSHxz8vkwgV8xVzPi2E_vqY/edit?usp=sharing
Avg map time + loads = 2m 21s
- Avg dump time between maps = 14s = Avg cyclical time per map for calcs = 2m 34s Maps/h = 23.3
Check sheet for other numbers.
Scarabs:
- Gilded breach
- Rusted sulphite
Sextants:
- +Breach
- Deli fill faster
- Magic pack size
- Resonating shrine / Gloom shrine / Vaal Soul Prevention
Device:
- Domination
Map:
- T16 Strand, chisel alch 80% skittering, rolled so that it doesn't have any tank monster mods for my build and no reflect or cannot regen. Stash filter regex: "r li|o su|r el|kes|coo|ege|tal d|m li|f ph|s ac" I think it filters out:
- player less accuracy rating
- player less CDR
- player cannot regen life/mana/es
- monsters take reduced extra dmg from crits
- monsters have chance to suppress
- monster ele res
- more monster life
- monsters gain % of max life as max ES
- monsters reflect phys
- monsters reflect ele
Key points:
- Aim for 16 rewards or 17 rewards it's up to you. I go 16 because it makes the maps faster. 17 is better profit margin but maybe less profit/h and more brainpower deciding which mechanics to clear each map.
- Maps per hour is much more important than trying to maximise loot each map, as long as it's 16 rewards.
- Map is alch. If run as transmute map instead on a weaker build, should get 17 rewards usually if you full clear or close to it. Sometimes only 16.
- Minimal thinking strat now, I pop every breach and clear the initial flood of mobs when and for a few seconds after, then move on.
- Doesn't matter that the tree doesn't get Eye of Invasion because even without proccing the 1 additional breach from chance% on tree, can still get 16 or 17 rewards in alched map. Better to make it consistent than rely on procs and do more thinking.
BUILD INFO PoB: https://pastebin.com/vQrCwceH The above PoB is lv 100, check trees n stuff for options. NOTE it's 3.20, the league Nimis was released, so stuff is probably different if you're reading this from the future.
Approximate cost = 3-4 mirrors (including mageblood). Mirror is about 300 divs at time of writing. Can make it about 70-80% of the overall power/speed level with just 1 mirror probably. Check palsteron channel for a non-mageblood version, have to fix mana cost in other ways.
Also, I have shock avoid chance on my relic. When combined with Stormshroud and a helm suffix, this let me be ailment immune. If you don't have a shock avoid relic or don't want to use one, you'll have to solve ailments yourself or accept them. Other ways might include:
- Mageblood shock avoid flask suffix + Stormshroud
- Shock avoid on several abyss jewels (can get up to 50% per jewel theoretically)
- Rational Doctrine combined with the Cloistered notable from Militant Faith conversion. However, this requires your strength to be highest attribute so uhhh good luck fitting that into this build... Maybe Zealotry watchers eye?
- Purity of Elements. Big sacrifice.
- Maybe CDR on a rare belt and use eldritch boots for 100% shock avoid? If you can't give up your belt slot for CDR, you need to keep that CDR crusader mod on boots I think.
Can push it further with enlighten 5, letting you save a point from precision reservation mastery. But I stopped playing the league before that point.
