Hey everyone, I wanted to make a small showcase for my absolution scion. Almost everyone is playing absolution as a necromancer with doryani's prototype in the endgame, but I believe my version to be superior in most ways.

Disclaimers: Yes my current character has very high investment. I did league start this though and was able to clear ubers at the end of week 1 with maybe 25 div. I'm mostly trying to present a general shell to build summoners. Secondly, this is still an absolution build. I'm fully aware of the issues. You have to summon the dudes on bosses, and their AI isn't great. If you don't like absolution, you won't like this build.

I'm not exploring a new concept here, it's basically an aurabot for minions. This has been done in the past, but has kind of fallen out of favour. Since necro had been nerfed, I decided to look at it again. I'm basically grabbing every aura wheel and then just use regular summoner gear.

I go hatred instead of doryani's proto, because hatred is the strongest aura in the game. Doryani's downside is too hard to work around imo, and you probably also just deal less damage in the end, in addition to not having 30% chill on ubers.

Absolution has astronomical mana costs, so I went EB early and then 100% reduced cost later. With EB on crucible trees, it's not much worse though. Militant Faith in scion is absolutely bonkers op. This isn't a new tech either, but just want to highlight it again. Power of purpose is free armour, and it also very conveniently lowers cost of blessing(!), so you need way less ES when using EB.

I have 86% evade, 88% maxres(with 90% being not much harder to get) and 100% suppression. Necro doesn't get that. My spell block is lower since I can't fit tempest shield, but oh well. I will say that necro has much easier access to skill and minion duration which is nice qol. My duration is currently pretty low, which can be a bit annoying.

Clear is quite good imo. I' m currently running a scuffed explode AG, hatred also really helps here by juicing the explode chains. Vaal absolution is fun for both clear and damage. Leveling to 100 in maps was pretty chill.

I'm quite confident that this general shell could work for a lot of different summoner builds. The ones that shine the most are obviously phys convert skills, like absolution. I imagine crushclaws could also be insane, their AI is better as well.
