Lanch Sloth's Notes
PoE 3.29 Eviscerate Elementalist league start progression after my first two days in the new league.
I started the league as Ignite Elementalist with Firestorm and Armageddon Brand, then slowly progressed into my Eviscerate setup and finally switched the character into CI.
The campaign was surprisingly easy. I was lucky with some early gear drops, capped my resistances before Kitava, and reached maps without any serious problems.
Things started getting harder around yellow maps, so it was finally time to invest into the build.
My first important upgrade was Bitter Instinct.
After that, I switched into Eviscerate, started killing the first bosses, bought a 5-link Incandescent Heart, and collected the rare gear I needed for the CI version.
Even on a five-link, the damage felt completely fine and the high block chance made progression very comfortable.
During my first two days I managed to:
- finish the campaign
- switch from Ignite to Eviscerate
- buy Bitter Instinct
- move into the CI version
- get a 5-link Incandescent Heart
- complete the fourth Lab
- get my first two Watchstones
- buy a six-link
- start planning the next upgrades
I also compare Hyaon’s Fury and Ephemeral Edge.
Hyaon’s Fury currently gives me more damage, but Ephemeral Edge gives much better survivability, so I decided to use it for my current setup.
My next important upgrades are Polaric Devastation and a better amulet.
Ashes of the Stars is probably the best option, but The Eternal Struggle can also be a very nice temporary choice with good implicits, Culling Strike, or Global Defences.
This is not a full build guide.
It is a real PoE 3.29 build progression diary showing how the Eviscerate Elementalist feels during the first days of a fresh league.
