Probably one of the dumber ideas I've ever had playing this game. Pretty much levels as WoC until you can get a decent 2h mace and the ability to actually attack fast enough with it (this usually means Lead by Example cluster for almost perm onslaught uptime, pathing down to Wrecking Ball, or figuring out how to safely use Blood Rage early on. The larger issue is mana regeneration; you pretty much want some sources of mana regen (Quick Recovery, flat mana on abyss jewels in Darkness Enthroned, etc), and even then if you roll anti-exposure on maps you'll probably have to yank out Flammability from Battlemage's Cry. Doesn't matter most of the time, thankfully, since the 2h mace enchant is so hilariously busted that even on maps where monsters have 75% res all the time you'll end up oneshotting most enemies with the initial slam, let alone the ignites spawnkilling things from ignite aura/proliferation+explode.
Also stun resistance. Brine King is pretty much mandatory, and stun avoidance on a flask can smooth out most maps; getting actual immunity is something you pretty much need a Mageblood for, unless you decide to do the super weird thing and run an armor/ES setup with Vile Bastion+EB+MoM.
I've had more than a few super lucky crafts and snipes this league, and I'm pretty happy with how it's going. In most maps you only really need to press Infernal Cry every now and again, or use Enduring Cry if you need to cap your charges in a pinch near an enemy. Harbingers are nice for this since they always give you max power for warcrying near them, so the build is at its best when it can get the short-term movespeed from IC/bit of extra damage from Infernal Cry and not have to worry about charges.
