This is a follow up on my leaguestart video, this one took a while because between my entire family being sick for a week, my ISP crapping itself for a week, i barely played the first 2 weeks and when i played it was hardly playable with constant ping spikes, so yeah sorry for the late entry but still wanted to share this cause i had fun

i use Combat frenzy on weapon set 1 because you don't freeze with shred, and i use savage fury on weapon set 2, that's how i have enough spirit, also POB doesn't show Savage fury, missing gem info
you still get the fury stacks and the buff even if it's only active on one of the sets, idk if it's a bug or not but hasn't been fixed yet so might aswell enjoy free spirit

I really like how it plays, however it might not be for everyone, you really need to understand ins and outs and know your limits to play it, it's not a mindless build when doing hard content

overall low A tier build(if coc comet, poison pathfinder are S), several issues preventing it to be a higher, a lot of buttons to juggle, unability to scale life/armour into invulnerable territory like ES builds and a bit low on single target if you don't go crit, but crit puts so much pressure on your tree and gear that you lose on what makes build feel good like cooldown recovery and skill effect duration, aoe

pobs will have 20d/40d states, the basic starter gear is essentially the same but worse rolls, like when you start mapping you don't need capped resistances and before mega juiced abyss you can live with only 20k armor and feel good

sine aequo gloves since more than doubled in price, they are not necessary(a good phys+ele dmg gloves can be even more dps and offer more valuable stats like rarity, armour, life, mana/life on kill, attributes etc.) but they make the clear much smoother, same effect can be achieved with polcirkeln ring to chain between moonbeam, herald of ice and armor explosions, however sine aqueo offers way more damage than polcirkeln so you want to eventually get them

yes i know that Moxsy dude made the strat to make herald of ice into armour explosion into herald of ice chain but imo it's not neccessary just makes the build a bit smoother, the Herald + Lunar Moonbeams are already great clear once you have a bit of aoe nodes, and you still want your armour break stuff on your crossslash too for better uptime of endurance charges on tankier rares and bossfights, endurance charges give you a ton more deffences, don't sweat if you can't yet afford gain as phys weapon and annoint(requires isolation so expensive) it is only really needed for max juicing

basically there's no one right way to solve clear and some will be a tad bit smoother than others, but for this specific version i like where it's at clear wise even without the herald armour break chain,and single target dps wise i was able to kill t16 citadels and anomaly bosses with a 1 divine weapon and using literally self found jewelry and besides gloves those are the only damage mods on my gear

the reason i went titan is because no matter how fast, jumpy and how much aoe it has, when it comes to it it's still a melee build, and tanky rares in maps especially abyss can have 3+ million ehp with full map effect atlas and monster effectiveness, so you need to be able to take hits, so it's either ES or armour+armour applies to ele, everything else is just not viable for melee builds when every monster hits hard

i played too many es builds so i wanted to test how good is armour with investment(it's good but not as good as ES, limited life scaling is the problem because after 40k, armour just isn't worth investing into)

degens are a problem cause most of them come with disables recovery, my build has decent regen at higher levels and very good leech from mark of siphoning and on kill from items/jewels/cannibalism support but when your recovery isn't working it's a problem, they did get nerfed and you actually have a fighting chance now, however i went back to using dousing charm because it became a problem in less recovery + minus max maps, if i had a bleed + ignite on me i was actually losing life still, i found that stun charm is actually completely unnecessary, i felt no change after replacing it, i think best combo is slow + freeze + ignite charms

titan allows you to get a lot of different stats and you need all of them, hulking form basically makes your tree 25-30% better(it's not really 50 cause you take a lot of travel nodes too)

you need aoe, cdr, armour, damage, life and speed and it's hard to get all that on other ascendancies and most other ascendancies are defficient in at least one other regard, the defensive nodes on titan alone are also really good (more armour and more life can't really get that anywhere else)

non titan builds might want to look into cloak of flame + phys taken as ele, but titan gets so much armour from chest slot i feel like it's not really worth it, cloak of flame is also better for degens, but requires much better gear in other slots which is expensive and puts too much pressure on other stats, i wouldn't even look at it without at least 20+ divines ready to spend

happy with the build overall, i felt improvement for every single upgrade i made and there's still so much more to improve with currency, my feeling is that around 30-40 div this becomes god tier(40k+ armour, 3k life, and few million single target dps)

a lot of buttons to press but very smooth, not like piano slammers in poe1, you mostly use combination of 2 button presses with 3rd when timing is correct, 2 buttons for clear, then 2 different buttons for single target and cross slash for utility and reposition when necessary, i invest a good amount in skill duration so you don't have to press your buffs too often, it also helps to maintain high rage with duration because otherwise you keep spending it on lunar blessing which nearly doubles your damage(70+ extra as cold and additional damage from moonbeams)

put pounce on maximum range in skill options if on controller, it's way better for movement, probably the best movement ability in the game, can cheese it on bosses by standing right under them so you don't jump over

once your damage feels good you can start slotting in utility supports, like prolonged duration in lunar blessing, freeze duration + rage in lunar assault, aoe gems

pounce is one of the best utility skills in the game, so many good supports, feels like even on a 10 link you'd have good gems to put there, use option for always max range for faster clear, can jump over most ledges

you can animation cancel everything on this build, when i fight multiple abyss monsters i'm basically never in one place for more than half a second, this ups your survivability tenfold, most dangerous stuff in this game is ground targeted so ability to constantly reposition with quick attack times and animation cancelling is super valuable
