I started playing PoE around a month ago. Last Epoch's release frustrated me with the online problems, so I downloaded PoE and started playing.

Then a friend told me of a mutual friend that plays the game every league, I had already progressed some, but he injected a ton of currency into my build.

I took off. I had troubles at the start, but by reading and learning, and asking for advice and being helped by multiple people, I think I had a stellar league.

I got to 28 challenges, beat all Pinnacle Bosses except Sirus, beat Uber Exarch and Uber Maven, and also did Simulacrum wave 30. Maybe these are not much of an accomplishment for veterans, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I also, I think, almost maxed out the dot dps cap. I know there are plenty of stuff that I still don't know, but there are also a ton of things that I have learned this past month.

I feel like I did what I wanted to do with the EA Ballista build, that I pretty much picked at random on Maxroll when I started playing.

I'm super excited for the next League, and can't wait to play. I'm not decided on exactly what I want to do, initially I thought of going for a Necro build, more specifically Poison SRS, but I'm waiting for guides and patch notes reviews to see what I'm going to end up doing.
