Cat vs Jad's Notes

DISCLAIMER: Some of these notes may be outdated as I haven't updated them since league start. Check my videos for current stuffs. - Prioritise going to delve node "Haunted Remains" and getting Ancient Suffering spectre asap. Cast desecrate in the node after completed if you dont find it. Spectre gives +1 curse and temporal chains. - Prioritise getting 100% chance for minions to poison. Can do this with dendrobate, or a 5 link with chance to poison support. 100% Chance to poison takes priority over any other upgrade, always. - If you find a corrupted 6 link, add any of the following ( in order of most dps to least): Unbound Ailments, Melee Physical Damage, Hypothermia, Ruthless, Minion Speed. Leveling tips: - Before you read anything else, understand that it will always be more efficient to just use an already established leveling set up. You can look at Tytykiller or someone else for examples. But I don't play this way, I like to level with what I will play end game, and realistically this build will not be a 3 hour speed runner. Get used to taking 6+ hours in campaign, you are an off meta minion build after all. - Start leveling with purifying flame, until you get SRS. Zombies are just meat shields for now, they will die alot until after we get Vitality. But we take the gem and level it anyway - Take Vitality, clarity, and precision as soon as you get them. Dont over level these, or you will have mana issues. Generally level vitality first. - Try to use Vaal Orbs on Summon Skeletons any time you get them. Vaal Summon Skeletons is absolutely cracked, you can even use this all the way until you get Summon Carrion Golem of the Hordes - Absolution is pretty good for leveling. Depending on how many buttons you want to press, you can combo srs, skeles, and absolution for extra damage. Or just take the lazy approach and go Absolution. - We cant go chaos conversion until we get our second lab, so for now all damage is physical with a hint of elemental. For now just use generic supports like Minion Damage, Melee Physical support, Minion speed. - Once we hit act 6, we can buy every gem that we will use in the end game set up, so you may as well do it then. - Prioritise life and resistance on gear. Nothing else really matters in the campaign, except movement speed of course. - I'm not making 100 trees on how to level, so in general its just minion survival > our own survival (life, res, etc)> Minion damage. Search for what you need on the passive tree. - Use essence of fear on wands and gloves during campaign, this is big damage. - Its far easier to take bases that match your gem links than it is to chromatic orb, fusing and so on good pieces of gear. Dont waste time doing this, you can get away with just bench crafting resistances so just do that instead. - It can be very helpful to camp Foothills and adjacent zones to unlock some basic Unveils, we really need Trigger craft, +1 Zombie, and hybrid chaos res of all 3 elements. It can be helpful to get hybrid attributes of strength/dex as well, just in case. Nothing else needed right now. Gearing Tips: - Always check Craft of Exile before you craft anything with my advice. Maybe I make a mistake here, maybe I don't. Maybe you know a better way. Follow at your own risk :) - I have opted for better upgrades sooner, rather than using crap gear to farm best in slot. The gear choices I have made give the most power and take the least time to obtain. - Our biggest upgrades are gem levels, pretty much always. So of course, our first priority is hitting the Delve Mines to fossil craft our wand and helmet. Use Convoking Wands of ilvl80 or less so you can get away with using 3 socket resonators. - We also want to throw all our Abberant Fossils onto Ghastly jewels to cap poison chance. Can also Harvest Chaos reforge. This is a matter of priority, since most of our damage comes from poison. - Conveniently Delve is also where we pick up our first actually good Spectre, the Ancient Suffering. I would reccomend delving immediately out of campaign to get this since it is basically free and like double damage for us right now. - After getting our first few gem levels, we want to aim for capping suppression on gear. Save a few divine orbs for this, I have tried to make this gearing useful enough that it could carry you forever, but also cheap to craft at the same time. - Expect to farm around 100-200 Essences of Greed of a good tier (ideally t3-t1). This shouldn't be too hard to do if you are fast and ignore fluff mechanics. But you can also just harvest reforge Life, use fossils, or whatever else is available to you really. - Once you have t1 suppression on 2 pieces of gear, we can now transition to our Cluster Jewel set up. I have opted for a quick and easy way to craft them, instead of actually "best in slot" jewels since those are painful to make so just do it later. - We cannot run level 20 Guardians Blessing without at the minimum 4x Renewal, 4x Dread March, and Vitality. We go for 6x Renewal for extra safety, but you can just not do this if you want to I guess. Just don't be sad if AG dies then :) Keep gem at level 1 until then. - It is fairly difficult to swap to clusters without Elegant Hubris (Caspiro), you just won't have the attributes. Farm Legion for this and if you have spare divine orbs, try to get Slum Lord on the points you already take. But you should save them for end game crafting IMO. - You can start farming Awakened Gems whenever you want really. I tend to wait until I have my cluster set up, so I can fight Maven with relative ease. These are very good, and should be rushed asap but try not to get burnt out :p - After that, its time to farm best in slot everything really. Good immediate upgrades are the Covenant unique chest armour, Thread of Hope (Medium Ring), and Amanamu's Gaze. - The best upgrade of them all is The Adorned unique jewel. I don't know the threshold %, do your own math just make sure to reach 100% chance to poison :P Have fun crafting corrupted magic abyss jewels for a few hours too XD - I have given examples for min-maxed gear slots. These take hours of essence farming in SSF and the hardest part is making sure we also cap our resistances. - Other notes: - I have spent hours going over everything, but I am open to any suggestions or ideas. Please do check the numbers your self first though because I am prone to sitting at POB for hours just looking into things xd. - We actually get so much damage once we get Adorned that there is the opportunity to halve our damage and go all in on survivability. I have theorised a few ways to do this, but haven't come up with anything I would settle on yet. - Check PoE ninja mid league to see how I solve t17 maps - Send me a message if you are playing the build! - Spectres are (in order of being obtained): Carnage Chieftain (desecrate in act 2 old fields), Ancient Suffering (Haunted Remains node in Delve, desecrate after completing), Pale Seraphim (Beyond monster) OR Arena Master (better bossing dps but less mapping dps, comes from Warlord Maps), and Gilded Arach (Hunter influenced maps). Gilded Arach is better than Arena Master and Pale Seraphim, take whichever you get first. - Use Host Chieftain as second spectre until you get to Delve, then replace it. - Pale Seraphim and Gilded Arach corpses WILL DESPAWN shortly after defeating them, so remove your offering in these maps and be on the look out!! - Check Youtube channel Doominated for short videos on what these spectres do if you are unsure. - Check AG gear set up - Ask me for any tips on crafting gear, or farming gear - If you get a +2 wand, dont annul the first one you get just use arcanist brand. - Be creative! Its your build, you don't have to follow everything I do blindly. Feel free to change stuff to make the build work for you as well as the conten you are doing. - Explode AG is just using gravebind gloves (so manual cast your Despair, and drop Punishment), and a Crusader chest with chance to explode. Explode AG is hella fun early game, falls off late game when our minions clear everything anyway. - THERE IS ANOTHER AG SET UP! In the end game, if you happent to find Asenaths Gentletouch Silk Gloves, you can actually use these instead of the despair on hit gloves. You then swap from Ancient Suffering to Pale Seraphim. Make sure to craft +1 curse chest for ag, and manual casts despair. ___________________ Gilded Arach Spectre nearby enemies take 10% increased damage ________ Pale Seraphim Nearby enemies take 8% increased damage _________________________________ Spectral Leader nearby allies have 20% increased action speed _____________ AG Leer cast Nearby allies deal 50% increased damage ____________________________________ AG Crown of the Tyrant Nearby enemies have -10% to all resistances Nearby allies have 47-61 added chaos damage ______ AG dying breath Nearby allies deal 18% increased damage +100000% to all resistances Arena Master nearby allies have 10% increased attack speed nearby allies have 10% increased damage
