Subtractem's Forbidden Rite CoC Build Guide

Howdy everyone!

I've put together the most comprehensive build guide that I could for the Forbidden Rite CoC Occultist. It comes with a PoB for both pre and post-Mageblood setups as well as a crafting spreadsheet talking about how I crafted all of the gear for it.

In this guide I really wanted it to be equally informative as instructional. Because of that, much of it is focused on answering specific questions that I've come across (and seen posted here, quite often) and the goal is that this will be a resource that really helps folks understand more deeply the nuances of the build as well as avoiding pitfalls that can befall folks playing CoC for the first time.

My big recommendation before you play any CoC build is to really learn the ins and outs of it, I've created a detailed resource that is intended to shore up that fundamental knowledge before tackling this build. This, truly, is the strongest build I have EVER played in Path of Exile. Even taking into account the cost, I have never felt such a high level of balance between offense and defense and I hope to make this build more approachable and understandable for more players. Everyone deserves to have this much fun.
