About me: 5th league played, 1500 hours. I have a job but I took some time off the beginning of this week to play more.

Pre-league prep: Played to 85 in SSF Archnem on a 4-link spectral helix with Life Gain on Hit support. the damage was fine for T10 yellow maps.

May 14 end of day 1 POB: Bought the Magnate, Wyrmsign, the gull for less than 20c. Started going hard on chaos recipe with the enhancer in heist to buy a couple of exalts early. Breezed through white and yellow maps. Bought the jewel with RMR corruption on a live search for 1c 2hrs into the league, it's nothing crazy but it's nice.

Day 2-3 POB: Bought the eternal struggle, had to spend some time looking on poedb for modifier levels till I found one that was exarch dominant. 15% culling strike is huge (not in POB dps). Clear is feeling quite good. Call of steel is great, and we ramp even more for map bosses between max rage and rampage. Tragic T4 aisling (I don't sell stuff on forbidden trove) on my axe (intermediate upgrade unseen in these POBs) with a 1/6 to make it worse, we hit the 1/6. Buy a 20c Karui Chopper off trade that I'll probably not upgrade from with this build and it gets divined in harvest over the coming days.

Day 4 POB: Bought perseverance now that the price drops below 10c. Too cheap for a 6-link still, bought a mirror shard for stonks. Switch out Lifetap for Cruelty when the mods are cannot leech or cannot regen mana, can do a lot of corruptions but try to stay away from the rippiest red maps to level while still finishing atlas completion. Scouting reports help finish it off.

Day 5 POB: Bought celestial justicar cards for a 6-link finally. Rolled better flasks. Swapping flasks a lot depending on the map mods, various life flasks, topaz, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, etc. Respect from Inspirational to Master of metal for the deeps and still have sufficient mana/precision level for Precise technique.

Current POB: Only two voidstones in but I think I can take maven on this build, not really using sextants for farm so it's not a priority for me. Blasting T16s even though I forget to put domination on the map device most of the time with rusted abyss, expedition, ambush scarabs, focusing on blue and red sentinels and supplementing with heist. Got the achievement for 7 harvests in a single map, didn't even die (5 of the fights had near death experiences though). Have 28ex exilence NW in currency tab mostly in two mirror shards. Found a nice synth LGoH prefix ring from sentinel that I essence crafted.

Overall thoughts:

  • I thought I would be transitioning to LS or MS with Omniscience or the interrogation in the first two or three days even, but I'm pretty happy with the performance and playstyle of this build for a tight budget. Clear is really good with call of steel and zoomy with Adrenaline in one proc + blood rage AS/Frenzy + rampage. I can take a lot of expedition remnants that would be awful on LS.
  • Precise technique is such a great booster for damage early league, it's like resolute technique but requiring precision and an accuracy node + maybe a roll on gear for 40% more damage. It's really good on champ since you don't want too high life anyways cuz adrenaline.
  • The gull + atlas shrine nodes are insane, easily will make your money back with domination on the map device too just in terms of the extra juice you can handle.
  • still die a lot to harvest, delve, burial chambers boss (lol). adding sentinel makes things quite a bit rippier too.
  • deaths - 165, kills - 290K monsters
  • the actually DPS is highly variable - with the right shrines (acceleration or echoing), 50 rage, 1000 rampage, frenzy charges ticked (I don't tick them in POB cuz they come from blood rage), the build feels like old headhunter. cold starting if you die in tough content can be impossible though.

I have some claw fractures that I'm crafting on and I'm accumulating essences, so I'll definitely do something with them, but it might be on ranger. Undecided on second and third builds but thinking about omniscience again, Arakaali's, Hiltless pathfinder, converting this champ to CFKB.
