wanted to showcase this tornado elementalist build using the Crest of Desire helmet. sorry about cancer filter

somewhat inspired by mathil's tornado crest of desire elementalist from last league... his was a ralakesh angle with almost exclusively unique items and I did not want to do ralakesh so this is a different approach. all the gear is different (except the helm obv), tree is a little different as well but at the end of the day its a crit spellcaster so its pretty comparable

the new taming ring scales really well with the number of ailments on an enemy, and tornado has problems with critcapping so I went for a secrets of suffering + skitterbots angle to always have 5 ailments on an enemy. we get nearly 250% damage from our ring and also 40 all-res. very nice to gear this character.

investment in the video is probably around 18d or so. i paid 4.5d for the interrogation and its now 1d. paid 2d for the +8 crest, 2d for the wand, and no more than 1d for any other piece of gear, usually around 50c mark. the watchers eye i spent 7d on. I also have an oriaths end i unequipped for the sake of this video to show the clear without it (also why i didnt click shrines). its nice for the big chain booms but build has pretty good clear without it.
