I really wanted to play Connors build last league, but thanks to there being 45 other builds I was playing, I never got around to it. After some consideration I decided it would be the first build I rolled into on 3.21. The problem is getting to that point, and watching his leveling video I was bit worried I wouldn't progress my atlas as quickly as I needed to. So I decided to make a build, an actual "league starter", that fills in that spot. It's a strong, fast build that can get all your voidstones as you grind gear for Manabond, all without having a massive respec cost.
Heres the pob:

Here's my video going over the POB and why I think this is a strong option:

Notes:
- Leveling notes in notes section of POB is meant to be "fastest" route. It's just my own testing, feel free to level as you wish.
- Sorry no gameplay in video (but I did test it on stream) and was clearing t11-13 on a 4link at lvl76 and ssf gear.
- The main hurdle is defense. You'll want to use grace or determ (whichever you have most of on gear) in place of Zealotry until you have some block - and even then you might want to keep until Shaper's touch
- You don't go low-life without Coruscating. Rumi's & Coruscating are the first uniques I'm targeting. You don't need to go low-life either, especially if you have a 6L. But not going LL requires a bit different of a configuration and scaling method.
- Berek's takes clear to another level. It goes from blasting packs to blasting screens. Hopefully it's not too hard to get really early (it's pretty common now), but with competition from all the ignite builds who knows. Nonetheless, Valako's is a strong option too.
- Anvil is a great defensive option, but there are a lot of necks you could use. Stone of Lazhwar is also excellent and costs like 1 wisdom.
- Singularity is a great option. But who knows how easy it's attainable. +1 with cast speed, damage to spells, crit, all good.
- Lightning Warp is OP. Just find the links to use it because it makes the build immensely enjoyable to play and quick down the maps. You of course can use Shield charge instead (cringe).
- This is somewhat an advanced build, that rerolls into an even more advanced build. You also need to be pretty good at early economy if you want to play this to its potential at a value. I did my best to keep things are cheap as possible and for all intents and purposes I think I succeeded.
- The build has a very SPECIFIC purpose. It's not meant to uber, it's not meant to farm heist, it's not meant to be a blaster. It's specifically meant to progress atlas, farm gear for re-roll, all without having a massive respec cost. If you don't want to roll into Manabond, then I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU PLAY THIS BUILD. If you do want to play Manabond, and you're unsure if Arc with no damage on tree is enough to carry you through maps, then you might want to consider something like this.
If there are any issues with POB or any questions you have let me know. I'm not really a build guide kinda person, nor do I really care to be. Just like to talk about what I'm doing and bounce ideas off others.
