Wanted something where I could really multitask while playing and just shut off completely.
- T11 Cemetery mapping - https://clips.twitch.tv/SpookyAmazingStingrayNononoCat-h7ENSA3sG3eXH6qG
- Pobbin - https://pobb.in/9GXBLMEQziY1
Pros
- NO BUTTONS - I can't overstate how good this is. No flask crescendo, no button mashing, in fact no left-hand usage at all! Want to watch TV? No problem! Drink some coffee? Great! Eat a full meal? Why not!
- HUGE AoE - projectile speed scaling and explosions lets us kill things offscreen
- CHEAP TO START - only requires 1 psuedo expensive unique (defiance of destiny) and you DO NOT need a max roll to get the build going.
- LOTS OF EXPANSION POSSIBLE - a ton of upgrade options available as you collect those brother's gifts
- HIP AF - no one is crazy enough to run this, EXCEPT YOU! Get it while it's still cool 😎
Cons
- This is NOT an endgame build - it's great for running through yellow maps at high speed with your eyes closed but but even with significant upgrades you don't want to be fighting Uber Maven with this. The damage is a little tricky to calculate but I'd estimate something like 1.5-2m Guardian DPS unless you really go zHP.
- Very little phys mitigation - this is what kills you. If you get a wisp'd up chad abyss reaper with multiple possessions you WILL spontaneously log out. In general with enough hp you should very easily absorb oneshots from yellow maps and most t11 cemeteries. I levelled to 95 without too much pain.
How it works
- Attacks come from a super niche dagger called The Hidden Blade. It automatically launches a dagger projectile every 0.5s as long as you are phasing. We use two of them supported by GMP, return and vicious. Your choice of supports is totally up to you but I wouldn't take off Return. This means you hit a target 4 times a second. Withering Step and Quartz Flask provide phasing.
- Build enabling with Warden's Poisonberry tincture. This is KEY because it allows us to poison with elemental damage as well, opening us up to further scaling options. We also max roll 14% chance to curse enemies with a random hex. With only 3 flasks this becomes 35%.
- With Occultist's [Forbidden Power](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Forbidden_Power_(Ascendancy_passive_skill)) passive and Anathema we can have a LOT of curses. We then add a crapton of flat chaos damage using Doedre's Scorn. I ended up sticking with 6 curses. Keep in mind there are only 9 in the game.
- Anathema does not require you to actually have charges to have more curses but forbidden power gives us huge damage scaling from them so you want to max out power charges. There are many options here. I'm currently using Ralakesh's Impatience but for the majority of time I was using Replica Red Trail with The Golden Rule. This second option is much better defensively as it gives you a LOT more life as well as basically caps your chaos res for free with minimal investment but it uses an extra jewel slot.
- Withering Step (which runs full duration) and Withering Presence cap out wither on enemies.
- Defiance of Destiny lets us skip health flask, leech, regen, recovery etc. The better your resists and life total are the more resistant you are to oneshots. This leaves your main concern to be damage over time.
- 25% increased life and 30% with Oath of the Maji
- Immune to ele ailments with Purity of Elements. Unaffected by Poison with Watcher's Eye. Immune to Bleed with jewels. Immune to burning ground with Pantheon.
Upgrade suggestions
- That Which Was Taken with 3% increased Poison Duration for each Poison you have inflicted Recently, up to a maximum of 100%. This is basically permanent 30-50% MORE damage as poisons stack infinitely and you are poisoning a LOT.
- More proj with Fan of Blades. Does nothing for you damage wise but will feel a little better AoE-wise.
- Asenath's Gentle Touch for reliable curse application. With Warden's passives you can get up to 35% curse with random hex but this still only means slightly more than 1 curse on a single target per second. To ramp your damage faster you want curse on hit, ESPECIALLY curse on hit with curses that best impact your damage. For me this was temp chains, despair and vulnerability. Depending on how you scale this could easily be a different combination. Asenath's doesn't actually give us anything but some life and int here but it's the easiest way to get multiple curse application from one gear piece through its unique mod + corruptions.
- Replica Shroud of the Lightless lets you spam abyss jewels. There are a bunch of mods that are a good for you so this can easily get you 8-10% MORE damage per jewel while also helping you cap out other aspects like reservation efficiency or corrupted blood etc. You can use this search as a starting point. Tweak the values and mods until the numbers look right. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/MaEa5nyIJ
