Bobo's Notes
PoB: https://pobb.in/o5XndJhiHz0l Wanted to make a quick showcase of one of the builds that I played during Necropolis. Kinda had to remember what I was doing, cause I took this vid one week before the new League and at least two months after I stopped playing Necropolis.
The build is a lot of fun (tho somewhat passive) and still has a lot of space for improvement. Even the basic gem setup (6 link & Kitavas Thirst) is most likely very suboptimal, but is essentially good enough for t16. The mitigation is probably not good enough for t17, the damage should do fine (besides bosses) cause Detonate Dead scales with monster HP.
One of the major hurdles of the build was and still is the balance of the damage taken through Storm Secret and Forbidden Rite, while recouping and recovering (Life Flask) enough, meanwhile sustaining the brutal Mana const per second. There is obviously space for improvement especially if you consider the availability of more cooldown reduction on gear to increase the self-hit-frequency. The selfdamage taken is somewhat balanced, that's the reason you see me remove the resistance shrine. The triggerrates are somewhat balanced around 75% Lightning Resistance and ~50% Chaos Resistance.
Essentially the build can be adjusted away from DD, a full on lightning version might even turn out to be the best (at least the Archmage Supports wouldn't be soooo wasted - atm they are used to increase the manacost to trigger Kitavas Thirst).
If this shit inspires you, and you make a vastly better version (super possible lol). Then hit me up, I'd be interested in seeing it :)
