I didn't want to make a cast on death build to farm uber bosses and the self cast creeping frost build from Jungroan intrigued me. When I made the build it felt a bit clunky so I tried to make it work with cast on crit.
I'm using the dialla's malefaction for extra projectiles without a damage penalty. I scale sniper's mark well over 100% with hound's mark on megalomaniacs. A very big damage increase is using the new Anathema ring to apply 3 curses, especially with the curse changes on bosses. This can be further scaled with for example implicits on shields, notables on the skill tree etc. I use righteous fire when I start hitting the boss. To sustain the degen I use a watcher's eye life on hit since we're hitting the boss for an absurd times per second.
Is the character tanky? Hell no. Is it fun? Yes, for me. Is it actually profitable to do bosses? Rng is rng. In about 300 invitations I dropped well over 10 Nimis, about 8 Ashes/Omni and various forbidden jewels. Keys were the rarest.
The build is certainly not min maxed. I can drop more life, add pain attunement on a relic and go for 3 1 passive voices which would net me well over 10 extra skill points to add for example a 4th voices for +100 crit multi though it is already overly expensive.
Here's an example of a +100% quant invitation with a few bad mods: https://youtu.be/bR_jG3WueIA
