Just wanted to share my Lightning Tendrils Trickster! Now, initially, this build was supposed to be a generic power charge stacking lightning spell trickster because of the defenses and I wanted to try some of the new transfigured gems. My main goal was to do juiced mapping, and trickster is great at that because of his "fuck you" defenses and recovery. Unfortunately, there weren't too many skills that had the "fuck you" damage. I tried divine ire (feels better than it was imo), BLoS, Crackling Lance of Branching/disintigration, Lightning Conduit of the Heavens (good clear, but baaaad against juiced mobs), but unfortunately they all fell short of the mark for me. Until I tried lightning tendrils of eccentricity. Now I know you don't have to scale crit chance/power charges with this spell because it auto crits. However, my gear was pretty tough to craft and didn't want to try to switch into some low life variant and redo my tree/ascendency. I think witch would be better for that from what I've seen. So instead I decided to use power charges to scale curses and aoe while still having the feels good trickster mapping. As you can tell, the aoe is full screen and incredibly satisfying to map with. Shoot, with 200m dps I'd say it's probably great to boss with. Though spell suppression is not there since I couldn't really fit it in and this hasn't been a problem. Currently level 99 with only 5 deaths (3 from Wildwood DD). I'm currently not fully sure of the second Vast Power cluster on my tree but wanted to see how it would look if I went all in on AoE. Sadly we only have 6 power charges, but it works out fine since AoE feels good and there are really only 6 curses we could possible run anyway so I've decided to not pursue more. I did accidently press curse reflection for this map and REALLY gimped myself. 20% less damage (enfeeble/debilitate), slow from temp chains, and -res from conductivity and ele weakness, however it was entirely fine because of trickster defenses with ghost dance, overleech, and high evasion.
Things of note:
-The hextouch + hexbloom combo feels very good for mapping when you run anathema's. If I unchecked my curses in pob I would be losing more than half my damage and it's just annoying to constantly have to put a brand down for tanky rares in maps.
-This build is not possible to do without a MB. Maybe someone could do it if you switch out the gloves/boots? But then you lose curses and aoe/cast speed/phys reduction. I don't think it's worth.
