Edit for 3.29 Soulrend of spiral got buffed and staves now can get +4 to all element gems (including chaos) total of +6 gem if you able to get +2 to all spell. No changes on the POB.

Start leveling uaing poison concoction and transition to Soulrend around lvl 75 to 80 or if you feel that yout cast speed is good enough.
