This is an 84% The Feared showcase of my Eye of Winter Brand Recall Triggerbots Assassin. The build exploits several triggering mechanics to gain multipliers to projectile numbers. With perfect positioning, the maximum DPS is ~425 Million Pinnacle Boss DPS. More realistically, maybe only 60% of projectiles actually hit. Scale damage down by whatever you think is a reasonable fraction.
Eye of Winter natively fires a total of 31 projectiles (without the helm enchant). Arcanist brand is used to trigger Eye of Winter on two attached brands. Brand recall is then socketed in a weapon with the modifier "trigger socketed gems every 4 seconds when you use a skill." By taking all the brand recall scaling on the passive tree and linking to enhance, the cooldown of brand recall can be lowered below 1.5 seconds. All of these triggering sources are then doubled using Triggerbots from a "Perfect Crime" Forbidden Flesh/Flame combo. Math is below for the total number of projectiles:

(625 pps + 230 pps)(1 + 5 splits per projectile) = 5130 projectiles per second
This build uses Nimis, so all of these projectiles return. By positioning the character directly underneath the boss, a reasonable number of them will actually hit; I think a conservative estimate is ~60%.
One of the biggest challenges with brand recall is the substantial mana costs of triggering all the brands at once on top of the more multiplier from the trigger. To solve this, I've reduced the mana cost of Arcanist Brand, Eye of Winter, and brand recall to zero through a combination of a "reduced mana cost" Mageblood flask suffix, reduced mana cost per devotion Militant Faith, and Divergent Inspiration support. I'm using regular quality inspiration on my left click Convocation so that it has a 1 mana cost; this makes me generate inspiration charges so that I'm still able to benefit from the % more multiplier from inspiration charges on my main damage links while having a zero mana cost.
To scale damage, I've gone crit on the Assassin ascendancy and stacked power charges with Inner Conviction. PoB single projectile hit with reasonable configurations is 61.3k per projectile. With more optimistic configurations (basically just turning on brittle ground) the average hit is 83.0k per projectile.
Defenses are reasonable: 3.8k life, 900 ES, 100% suppression. Loreweave + Eternal Damnation for ele reduction and capped chaos res. Progenesis + 30% recoup. Life and ES leech with 10% instant leech mastery on all hits. ~20k armour and some physical to elemental conversion. Biggest missing piece is that I've been unable to roll Iron Reflexes with tattoos which would help significantly with physical reduction.
Estimated cost for the current state of the build is Mageblood + 300 divine. A lot of that 300 divine is tied up in a few specific investments: the CI Impossible escape (>80d) to save 8 passive points, Stormshroud, Watcher's Eye for Progenesis charge generation during bosses (20d), tattoos. All gear was self crafted so the rest is estimate crafting costs.
