tl;dr I made this build in harvest.. it's really good and fun, but the problem is that now I don't want to play any other build.. and I don't want to remake this build in another league because I know I wont be able to achieve the same level of gear. So it feels bad. At the same time I don't want to miss out on Lake of Kalandra. I want you to convince me there are better builds out there I could use, so that I haven't reached the end of my fun in poe.

so yeah. I'm not trying to brag. I consider myself a fairly casual player compared to most here. Harvest league was the only league I played right till the end, and I only made about 30 exalts out of that (though I also made all of the gear in that POB and got plenty of other items/currency not converted to ex). I've never had a headhunter. I've never been able to make a crit build work. I have killed all non uber endgame bosses, except maven and cortex (just because I haven't gotten around to those ones).

The dps in the pob might seem a little inflated - I may have more things ticked than will consistently be active, but that is the dps potential that sometimes comes out.. and regardless of what the POB says, the mapping is very fast, boss kills seem okay, aside from Oshabi who took forever to kill.

The defences are absolutely nutty though. - Just thanks to aegis aurora and armour/es stacking with max block. Using heiro to get mana as ES, and memory vault to get armourfrom my ES, then skin of the loyal for a juicy 100% increase to both armoru and ES. I have always liked tank builds.. and in the past few years my eyesight has deteriorated to the point where I am legally blind.. I don't notice when I'm losing ES/life because I just don't see it.. and I find it very hard to see mechanics when mapping.. I walk on mines all the time.. that sort of thing.. so having a build where I can jsut afk in t16 maps and have everything slowly die to my tempest shield even without my input is ideal. I can handle dodging boss mechanics since there is less visual clutter than regular mapping. So being able to tank shaper beam is not necessary.

Ir can run all maps except ele reflect. Though no regen maps can be a bit of a hassle if I accidentally go out of mana so I can't cast anything to leech it back - tempest shield comes in clutch here though.

Ball lightning is just a really awesome skill.. the free peirce.. high hit rate, good damage.. good base aoe so you really don't need to invest in lmp.. Also I really love delve and the aoe is perfect to fill the tunnel.

So yeah, I'm having trouble finding a reason to play anything else.. I spend days trying to theorycraft other builds but in comparison their damage and defences are always significantly worse than this one. Help motivate me?

Side question: Why do most people seem to use imbued wand over profane wand? Isn't the implicit on profane strictly better unless you don't care about cast speed for some reason?
