DNBSAVAGE's Notes
Hello guys,
So first month is behind us, i've been away for most of the last week chilling in the mountains and when I came back golden oils were up to over 60c/ea and map costs doubled (40-45c). This changed quite a lot and some of you worried about the profits.
So the main story here is really proving profits actually went up due to inflation, so we have higher costs but also we drop more (in total chaos), so the profits are now around 10div+ regardless of which strat you prefer (G vs GG).
Difference between single and double golden oil is mostly higher cost of investment. It's like we pay 600c, to drop 650c more(on average/10maps).
So cons of 2G are needing to invest more into golden oils, dropping more currency and items (more clicks, more time to loot), and then selling it back to buy the golden oil. There is no big difference in loot dropped, actually I had I think unlucky session with only 1.6 div/10 maps avg, while the real average is around 3.5. Even then, the single golden oil produced slightly more div/h than the double golden oil.
The pros of 2G are definitely more chances to drop something expensive in a long run (apothecary/doctor), which could make a diff.
So really you need to answer to yourself, whether you are up to doing longer runs, invest more and increase your chances for a big drop which might never come. Or you simply go ahead and just spam 1G strats to achieve your goal (like mb or sth).
I actually feel better running 1G, cuz its faster and you dont need to click that much, with less investment the profit is similar so my take is that with economy like we have now, 1G is still better, corrupted or not.
I will do some more analysis of drop rates and math after I do the runs, for now I try to collect data.
Regarding Twist of Fate my experience is that it's slightly worse than 40%+ rolled corrupteds, it's not that bad to roll those 35%IIR or lower maps, but I'd rather avoid re-rolling too many mods. The only mod I would re-roll is monsters speed cannot be reduced under base value, because this mod with combination of other hard mods can make you have stressful run or fail it once in few times, based on layout etc. OFC it's mostly matter of DPS.
