Hello exiles, I'm here to shine a light on a somewhat unexplored niche. Energy blade is looked at as an extreme high budget build no matter how you set it up, but it definitely doesn't have to be. This is still NOT a league starter by any means, and I wouldn't jump in on an absolute poverty budget, but at 15-20 divs you can absolutely get really great all-rounder performance (could do ubers but it'll be a bit harder) and at 70 you can comfortably farm ubers deathless (sometimes 1 death if you're bad like I am) and feared under a minute.

The main change vs aspirational PoBs you'd find on ninja is using only one cluster, for mana leech and attack speed, instead of a 12p attribute stacking cluster or using both. Those points being freed up lets us get instant leech and take utmost int naturally instead of via anoint. The ninja version by my reckoning becomes better after you get sanctuary of thought forbiddens and mana is less of an issue; after that you have the freedom to swap to a much harder attribute stacking mindset. The other big change is using onslaught tattoo + rare boots instead of stampedes, which I think everyone should just do.

Absolutely one of the strongest bang-for-your-buck builds I've played outside of a true leaguestarter. Main downside is you really want at least level 93 or so before swapping so you can path properly and set up the split personalities (which are most of the cost but pretty needed to not be squishy)

https://pobb.in/zUOxiBaAPbjt - Current PoB, the belt is very much a luxury but the rest isn't terribly pricy. The helm enchant hurts to buy, but it's a gigantic dps increase so it is what it is. The WE just needs the clarity mod and whatever you prefer, I wanted chaos res to cap and sniped the 3 mod for 20d but that's unreasonable so I disabled the 3rd mod.

Energy blade was my first ever PoE build off a homebrew smite char in scourge, and I'm beyond happy this is performing as well as it is. Hopefully this helps some more people see that it IS accessible even though most PoBs you see cost mirrors. I dont think I'm going to keep investing to that point personally, this build does everything I could want as is. Once I get bored of playing it I'll either try to find enough proj speed to swap over to eye of winter + return, or just jump into flicker strike for the first time.
